@DevotedDividend a genuine question: what's the point of buying dividend stocks or ETFs if they have historically (and will continue to) underperformed growth stocks? it is extremely unlikely you are in a tax jurisdiction that favors dividends over capital appreciation

@ubastard2 @fiatarchive this is changing the point if you leveraged the s&p to a similar volatility of bitcoin, you would not get similar returns a good way to view this is a risk-adjusted return measure, such as the basic Sharpe ratio, where: Bitcoin > S&P 500 > 3x Leveraged S&P 500

@ubastard2 @fiatarchive volatility borders on irrelevant in this discussion. the 'general fund' that she is referring to is held for decades upon decades. over that timeframe, any daily volatility doesn't particularly matter - but returns do volatility is a price you pay to achieve higher returns 📈

@mania_fn Metaplanet is executing and growing way faster in 2025. Semler had some legal stuff that seems to have slowed their btc accumulation, but I believe they’re getting back to it now. I’m excited and exposed to both.

From strategytracker . com To me, Metaplanet is crazy awesome value considering their growth. Semler is amazing as I’m personally expecting to see them rebound over 2x mNAV this year, and likely get back to fantastic growth. Just my thoughts. Love the website!!
