Every IPL match is a humongous expense on electricity (in stadia) and fuel (in lakhs of vehicles), and wastes precious incomes of lakhs of people (that must be conserved now, given massive economic uncertainty). And anyway, who earns from IPL? Only the super-rich. Scrap all IPL matches right away. Save energy. Save electricity. Save Indian economy.

The Pakistan Cricket Board did the right thing by banning him. This time, people from the so-called “scripted league” tried to use him to defame the Pakistan Super League. They couldn’t damage PSL’s reputation, but Dasun Shanaka has now been deprived of the next PSL. He doesn’t really have a place in the Indian Premier League anyway, and it’s unlikely that anyone will pick him next year either.

@Danny61000 Anybody familiar with contract law knows agreement with Muzarabani was binding, ethically and legally. Muzarabani got better opportunity and he opted for it but he has to face consequences of not honouring his contract in PSL. He can’t have his cake and eat it too.

Blessing Muzarabani was announced as a replacement pick after an agreement between the player and franchise over his fee and availability. He confirmed his participation in the tournament via email. Players sign their PSL contracts after arriving in the country.
