Donald Trump is way less popular than he wants you to believe. And you are significantly more powerful than he wants you to think.

Car repairs up 15%. Furniture up 9%. Electricity up 6%. Coffee up 20%. Now Republicans say they will shut down the government unless their law to increase many health insurance premiums by 75% goes into effect. They are ruining people’s lives with these cost hikes.

You're a leader, @BobOnderMO. The left hates all that is good and true and beautiful? You look at rising political violence and take to the floor to say we aren't divided ENOUGH? Do you see yourself in the attackers who went after Minnesota Democrats, Josh Shapiro, Paul Pelosi? Who planted pipe bombs on the eve of Jan 6? Of course not. You're angry, and right to be! We all should be furious about what happened. But you're not a random poster. You're not an anonymous account. You're a member of Congress. And I know even as I say this it's naive to point this out. But it's just so clear that part of what makes this era so toxic is that even elected leaders do not see it as their job take one step past raw emotion and animosity into that slightly uncomfortable place right next to it, where you can translate it without being completely compelled by it.

Right to Work will always be wrong for Missouri. It's wrong at the federal level too. Onder leads the way for Missouri's anti-labor extremism to creep into federal legislation. We can lift all boats by voting anti-union scabs like Bob the allergist out of Congress.

@lollicbatman Some people can't help that they've been deceived. Their reps lied to them. There are kind and decent people who have been led astray by deliberate strategies to divide us. We can help each other rise out of this mess. Americans have come together before to do hard things.
