H.E Atiku messes this one up.. COMMUNIQUÉ OF CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS OF BINANI ADC FACTION, ON THE COLLAPSE OF INTERNAL DEMOCRACY AND WAY FORWARD Issued at the meeting held on 18th April, 2026, at the residence of Hon. Mijiyewa Umaru Kugama. We, the undersigned critical stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State, drawn from the three Senatorial Zones, convened to review the disturbing developments arising from the recently conducted party congresses. After exhaustive deliberations, we unequivocally declare that the actions of the party leadership at both state and national levels have destroyed internal democracy, undermined the rule of law, and rendered the party structure in Adamawa State illegitimate and unacceptable. FINDINGS: The stakeholders noted with grave concern that; The congresses conducted under the leadership of Ishaya Bauka (Rtd) were fundamentally flawed, manipulated, and imposed against the will of the majority of party members. Valid court judgments and subsisting injunctions were deliberately ignored, setting a dangerous precedent of lawlessness within the party. The party leadership engaged in systematic exclusion, imposition, and intimidation of genuine stakeholders and aspirants. The party has consequently lost moral legitimacy and can no longer serve as a credible platform for democratic participation in Adamawa State. Resolutions (Hardline Position) In view of the above, and in the overriding interest of justice, political survival, and the people of Adamawa State, we unanimously resolve as follows: Total Loss of Confidence We pass a vote of no confidence on the ADC leadership at both the State and National levels for their complicity in the collapse of internal democracy. Immediate and Collective Resignation: We hereby announce our immediate and irreversible resignation en masse from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State. Rejection of All Congress Outcomes: We categorically reject the outcomes of the recently conducted congresses and declare them null, void, and of no consequence. Mass Political Realignment; We resolve to immediately align with a more credible and democratic political platform that guarantees fairness, justice, and respect for the rule of law. Leadership Mandate; We unanimously mandate Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani to lead stakeholders in determining and transitioning into a viable political platform for effective participation in the 2027 general elections, particularly the Governorship race in Adamawa State. Coordinated Defection Structure A structured and coordinated movement of stakeholders and supporters across Polling Units, Wards, LGAs, and the State will commence immediately to ensure a seamless transition. Mass Mobilization and Reorganization; We shall embark on aggressive grassroots mobilization, political education, and structural rebuilding under the new political platform to ensure electoral victory. Conclusion; The ADC, by its actions, has abdicated its responsibility as a democratic institution in Adamawa State. We refuse to be part of a system that thrives on injustice, impunity, and illegality. This decision marks the beginning of a new political direction anchored on credibility, inclusiveness, and true democratic ideals. Signed: Hon. Mijiyewa Umaru Kugama Convener Hon. Saidu Njobdi Komsiri Secretary

@omoluabi1sq You are very stupid for lying that Atiku birthed the coalition. You and Atiku don’t have sense. Coalition is not the property of anyone nor did anyone form it.

An ADC ticket with Atiku and Obi as VP is a solid ticket. Watch how Tinubu and APC will tremble if such a ticket emerges. Besides, Obi’s chance of clinching the presidency will skyrocket after Atiku is gone. We might finally live to see an Igbo presidency. I, for one, would want to witness that.

Nothing is cast in stone in politics. It is because both ATIKU and OBI worked in synergy before and they came second and third, respectively, according to INEC and the Supreme Court, in the 2023 election, that makes their combo attractive. Above all, we need a combination of national expertise, experience, exposure and youthful vibrancy... No individual can ABSOLUTELY guarantee a win. We need the full support of ADC members and the buy in of Nigerian citizens in general...

When did ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR tell you heavens will fall if he does not RUN. ATIKU is a consummate DEMOCRAT who has never pursued his mission in politics, VIOLENTLY... You have a choice to campaign for your preferred candidate and not to discourage one of the most influential, experienced, tolerant, accomplished, cerebral, tenacious, all-embracing, patriotic Nigerians in active politics today. ATIKU has given many younger Nigerians wings to fly at the National levels; he deserves your respect. He has done nothing to attract your veiled "bullying" by merely pursuing his own dreams...

Only ONE condition will make me engage actively in 2027 Nigeria Presidential elections. The condition is that PETER OBI is the Presidential Candidate of the opposition. Anything outside that, I will be continuing to actively tweet about JavaScript. Whosoever rigged himself to power in 2027 is none of my business.

"Disengagement"🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿 My brothers in Christ, I still own 50% of the company in case you have forgotten. I was never an employee and I was never paid a salary. I founded the whole damn thing and you just came along for the ride. It was basically a passion project for me, before I decided to focus my energy elsewhere. "Financial irresponsibility" on top free work? "Financial irresponsibility" based on what finance???? Who drank alcohol and made this ridiculous tweet? On a handle that I personally created in 2021 and later verified using my Revolut card? Is everything OK over there????
West Africa Weekly@WestAfricaWeek

Mr. Hundeyin's disengagement was due to repeated, and documented financial irresponsibility. The Board members no longer had confidence in his commitment to the core principles of WAW or in his work ethic. In due time, more communication will be made available on these issues.

I sincerely thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for my ambassadorial posting. This is a man with a heart of gold, and as I have previously said, the President is a most Christlike individual, with the capacity to forgive and forbear. Nigeria could not have had a better leader for the present time and for the next five years, by the grace of God. I accept this appointment and posting to the glory of God and for the betterment of Nigeria, even as I pledge my unalloyed loyalty to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the custodian of the Constitution and the Head of State of Nigeria. I once again thank my foster parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who moulded me, as a piece of clay they received from God, into what I am today. Other than God, NO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS have been more responsible for making me into what I am today than these two angels, who in my mother tongue are referred to as my Olayemi. I thank my biological parents, both of whom are now deceased, Bemigho and Ochuko, through whom I came into this world. Even in death, I love you both. I thank my wife, Hana, who has filled me with such peace of mind since I met her, and has been an encourager and nurturer. May God bless my friend who sticks closer than a brother, Malam Nuhu Ribadu. Although I have said this publicly before, let me repeat it today. This is not hyperbole to me. If it were possible for all the goodness on Earth to be domiciled in a single human being, that person would be Malam. He is blind to religion, region, communion and ethnicity—a credit to Nigeria and humanity. Through him, God made it possible for me to be a Presidential spokesman. And today, without saying much, what I have left unsaid says it all. It is most fitting that this posting to the United Mexican States comes as I begin the six-day climb to Mount Kilimanjaro to hoist Nigeria's flag on the summit of Africa's highest mountain. As I take each step, I am reminded of how God, in His infinite mercies, has used President Bola Tinubu to reposition Nigeria for greatness, such that in 2025, as recently revealed by both the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, Nigeria, a country with just 2% of the world's population, was the sixth greatest contributor to global GDP. Nigeria is rising under the present administration, as demonstrated by the hosting of the largest single tourist event in Africa in 2025, Detty December, which attracted 1.2 million tourists to Nigeria in December 2025 alone, without a single death, robbery, or domestic incident. A sign that, though we may have localised challenges, Nigeria is a safe and secure destination for your holiday and investments, as well as a politically stable nation, and the only country in Africa where five former Presidents and Heads of State dwell in peace within the country with the incumbent President. I devote my life again and afresh to Nigeria to be faithful, loyal, and honest and to serve and market Nigeria to the best of my ability, so help me God. Ambassador Reno Omokri

You've been a billionaire since the 90s. You've never invested in producing anything in this country, not even a toothpick factory. You've instead been busy with importation and trading in everything including what they're producing in-country, but you're the one everywhere telling gullible Nigerians that you'll change Nigeria from consumption to production. Now same you are busy trying to condemn the FG's efforts leading to cheaper food for the same Nigerians you've been saying are poor and hungry under the pretense of caring for farmers. What a desperate and fraudulent contradiction of a human being.

I am not his supporter but he clearly did not say this; and could not have said so. My understanding of what he’s saying is that we keep celebrating food prices dropping while our farmers are dying with many being afraid to return to the farm due to insecurity. If insecurity is adequately addressed, farmers will return to farm and the prices of food will keep dropping. Therefore, it is hard to justify the reduction in food prices when large number of farmers are not farming. So he was essentially calling attention to the continuous attacks and killings of farmers by terrorists and bandits.
