Since I've had a few DMs about @TheShuffleSquad lately, I figured it was easier to make a post here to let everyone know what's going on. Over the past month or so, I've been in the process of taking over TSS from the previous owners. I've been part of their management group for a while, and the opportunity has come up for me to try my hand at running a team. It might not sound like a lot to some, but there is always something going on behind the scenes. I've been quietly working my butt off on a lot of projects for TSS, and I'm looking forward to unveil a few things soon. Not 100% sure on the timeline, but soon. This week has been difficult for a lot of reasons, but I did let go of a few members internally. Nothing but love to everyone who is no longer on TSS, but I hope that my vision for our team (and for everyone on the team - including future members) makes it all worthwhile. These are people who I consider close friends, amazing community members, and more. Not easy. Nobody wants to be let go, or share that news with anyone, but there are reasons for everything, and I wish them all the best. TSS is strong, we have a great group of players, and we have the systems in place to keep us going (something I'm incredibly proud of). I'd like that answer to be yes, and there is a world where that might happen sooner than later (how soon? follow our socials to find out lol). We've always done a blend of applications, internal discussions, and reaching out to players. We are all players, members of the community, and want our team to thrive - if you wanna be on TSS, sometimes a conversation with us can get you on the team. Sometimes it doesn't. We are working on all of our processes going forward, I am in the process of creating a new management group (internally - for now) to help me with tasks, and the future is bright. TSS, for me, has always been something I'm proud to be on. I've been there for many of the team highs, some unfortunate moments, and everything. That's life. I am rebuilding TSS to be the best team it can be, that is going to take some time, but I know it will become some amazing. I feel like our vision, the vision of what a team is, and how we are perceived has shifted over the past season or two. I wanna fix that, and I want to be the best I can be. Whether that is as a team owner, manager, content creator, player, or just someone in the community - that's to be determined. There are areas where I know we can improve on, and things are quietly being worked on in the background. Nothing is perfect, I know that, but I do have my work cut out for me. We'll get there. I am open to feedback, love a great chat about ideas, and always down to have a chat for anyone who might be interested in helping us achieve those goals. Even though I'm a Poke-dad now, I've been a World Championship calibre player since 2005-2006, and hope that my longevity in the game allows me to navigate any situations (good or bad) that come. I'm sure we'll get there, give me some time, and it'll happen. I know this turned into a bit of a longer post than I anticipated, and I appreciate all of y'all reading. Just know that everything is currently being worked on, TSS is good, I know where we need to work on some things, and I'm working with amazing people that help cover my weak spots. #TSSWin if that isn't too cheesy, but I'm a dad now, so I'm gonna go with #TSSWin
