The total strength of the Assembly is 117, but due to one vacancy, the number of sitting MLAs is 116. Recently, Assembly elections were held in Delhi on February 5th, with results announced on February 8th. These results are now a matter of public record. During the campaign, I actively participated, particularly in the Badli constituency, and interacted with friends, acquaintances, party workers, and independent voters from various social backgrounds and assembly segments. The insights I gained from these interactions were as enriching as reading five books on Delhi’s political landscape. Additionally, my nearly three decades of experience in the police force have equipped me with an analytical perspective, allowing me to process this information logically. For now, I will set aside the Delhi scenario and focus on Punjab politics, where I naturally receive inputs with minimal effort. Without delving into unnecessary details but against the backdrop of what I’ve shared, I would like to make the following observations: 1. **Risk of Implosion in Punjab AAP**: Any move by Mr. Kejriwal to disrupt the existing balance in Punjab could trigger an implosion within the Punjab unit of AAP. Such an action would be akin to an animal harming its own offspring—self-destructive and suicidal. There have been instances in Mr. Kejriwal’s political career where his insecurities led to hasty decisions, causing him to lose self-control and attempt to micromanage others in his party without political justification. His recent call for a meeting of Punjab MLAs and the Cabinet has reinforced this perception widely. 2. **Need for Mature Leadership**: If Mr. #Kejriwal acts maturely and allows collective wisdom to guide his decisions, he can dispel the rumors and speculations circulating among Punjab’s political leaders. Currently, without intending to be a comedian, he is inadvertently making his party appear as a subject of ridicule, or as the saying goes, “Makhaul Ka Khaana.” 3. **Strategic Patience for Opposition Parties**: I believe that all political parties, including mine, should exercise patience and avoid proactively highlighting the fault lines of the ruling party in Punjab. Exaggerating these issues could backfire. After all, 93 MLAs is a significant strength, and we must avoid engaging in tactics that could damage our reputation among Punjab’s voters. Such actions could harm us more than the ruling party. Those who left the Congress to join AAP should be allowed to fade away on their own. As Sikh tradition wisely states, “One who is hiding should not be targeted.” History also teaches us that betrayal (*Bedawa*) can only be countered if the defectors achieve martyrdom. A wise leader would refrain from inviting them back, as any short-term gains would be outweighed by long-term damage. Now, turning to the ground realities, it is widely known among the people of Punjab that AAP’s influence in the state is waning. However, if AAP wishes to exit gracefully in the 2027 Punjab elections, they must start today from Kapurthala House in Delhi. The people of Punjab do not want #AAP’s leadership to engage in theatrics or plunge the state government into chaos. #Punjab is already grappling with severe economic challenges. The state’s revenue and fiscal deficits are in a dire state, with mounting debt and insufficient income. This has resulted in a capital outlay far below the national average. Punjab faces chronic issues of low capital expenditure, to the extent that even salaries are being paid through loans. The drug epidemic is devastating the youth, leading to premature deaths and widespread mental health issues. The healthcare system is deteriorating, with the state on the brink of a diabetic pandemic. A recent #AIMS report highlights these alarming trends.

There are quite a huge number of illegal and unauthorised cuts on National #Highways in Punjab. These are sources of very high number of accidents. The foggy days further aggravate the situation. #SSF in #Punjab is a good initiative but this shall not become the only #accident handling force. They are required to play a role in the enforcement of laws on roads. They may be asked to identify illegal cuts and coordinate with #stakeholders so that these accident spots get blocked as per #NHAI road protocols.@DGPPunjabPolice @SadakSurakhiya @CMOPbIndia @NHAI_Official. It is further requested that all SSPs in the state be asked to direct the force in their respective districts to remove all sorts of unattended #barricades at night and during foggy days. @PunjabPoliceInd.

मैं 2004 से लगभग तीन साल उनका बॉडी गार्ड रहा। एसपीजी में पीएम की सुरक्षा का सबसे अंदरुनी घेरा होता है - क्लोज़ प्रोटेक्शन टीम जिसका नेतृत्व करने का अवसर मुझे मिला था। एआईजी सीपीटी वो व्यक्ति है जो पीएम से कभी भी दूर नहीं रह सकता। यदि एक ही बॉडी गार्ड रह सकता है तो साथ यह बंदा होगा। ऐसे में उनके साथ उनकी परछाई की तरह साथ रहने की जिम्मेदारी थी मेरी। डॉ साहब की अपनी एक ही कार थी - मारुति 800, जो पीएम हाउस में चमचमाती काली बीएमडब्ल्यू के पीछे खड़ी रहती थी। मनमोहन सिंह जी बार-बार मुझे कहते- असीम, मुझे इस कार में चलना पसंद नहीं, मेरी गड्डी तो यह है (मारुति)। मैं समझाता कि सर यह गाड़ी आपके ऐश्वर्य के लिए नहीं है, इसके सिक्योरिटी फीचर्स ऐसे हैं जिसके लिए एसपीजी ने इसे लिया है। लेकिन जब कारकेड मारुति के सामने से निकलता तो वे हमेशा मन भर उसे देखते। जैसे संकल्प दोहरा रहे हो कि मैं मिडिल क्लास व्यक्ति हूं और आम आदमी की चिंता करना मेरा काम है। करोड़ों की गाड़ी पीएम की है, मेरी तो यह मारुति है। #ManmohanSingh

They(BJP)did not my views - -”.now here is my well-informed honest opinion and as a police officer what I gathered of public opinion:- ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਟ੍ਰਿਬਿਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰਤਾਲਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਬਹੁਤਾਤ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਪੱਖ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਅਤੈ ਪੂਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।2002-2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪ CM ਰਹੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸੀਪੀਟੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਵੀ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅਦਬ ਅਦਾਬ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹੁੱਣ ਮੈਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦਾਨਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵੀ ਰਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। 2002-2007 ਦੀ ਕਰਗੁਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ view ਸੁਣਕੇ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ #CM ਥਾਪਿਆ। 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ (ਨਾਮ ਲੈਣਾ ਵਾਜਬ ਨਹੀ)ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਤਹਿ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ “ਮਸ਼ਵਰਾ” ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੀ। ਆਪਿ ਨੂੰ 7 ਕੂ ਆਪਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ (ਨਾਮ ਲੈਣਾ ਵਾਜਬਕ ਨਹੀਂ) ਨੇ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਆਪਦੇ ਸਹੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਿਓਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਾਰਥ ਲਈ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਸਮਜਦੇਹ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ View ਲੈਣਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੰਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ crisis ਵੇਲੇ ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਉਹ ੭ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਝ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਏ ਬੱਸ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲੱਭੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।ਬਾਕੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕਫ਼ ਹੈ। ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਊ ਜੇ #BJP ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਖਨੇ ਮੰਡੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਤਾਲਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ paddy ਪ੍ਰੋਕਿਓਰਮੈਂਟ crisis ਦਾ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਂਤ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਪੱਰ ਆਪ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹੇ ਅੱਤੇ ਅਪਣਾ view ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਕਿੱਸਾਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਰੁਲਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਫਿਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਕੇ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਣੇ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਖਨ੍ਹੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਜੀ ਦੇ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਫਰਕ ਨਹੀ ਪੈਣਾ। ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਵੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕੇ ਊਨਾ ਨੇ ਤੋਹਾਨੂ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਚੋਂ ਕਿਊਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਡਿਆ। ਕਿਉਂਕੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ੭ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇਂ ਹੀ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਦੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਧਰਤਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਰੂਰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕੇ ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੱਣ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇ ਸੋ ਇਹਨਾ ਦੀ ਹੁਣ ਨਾਂ ਸੁਣਿਓ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪਤਾਹ ਕੇ ਜੋ 2017-2022 ਤੱਕ ਆਪਿ ਸੀਐੱਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੇ ਵੋਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਉਣੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਲਟਾ ਅਸ਼ਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਆਪਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੋ ਉਥੇ ਬੈਠਕੇ ਇਕ ਆਪਿ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਤਜ਼ੁਰਬੇ ਇਕ ਸੱਚੀ ਸੁੱਚੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਲਿਖੋ ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾੜਾਂਗੇ। ਏਕ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਆਪਜੀ ਦੇ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਉਹ ਏਕ ਜਾਖੜ ਜੀ ਹੁਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਾਰਥ ਲਈ ਗਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਨਾ ਜਿਤਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ।ਆਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਤ। @capt_amarinder @BJP4India @Partap_Sbajwa
