@BBCBreakfast Its not the vets... its the private equities that the @CMAgovUK are allowing to operate as they please a few quid off a prescription isn't going to change anything. Unfortunately there will be MPs Civil Servants their friends & families who have interest in maintaining profits

Vets will be legally bound to cap prescription fees and publish price lists among new measures which will start coming into force later this year. Peter Ruddick had more details on #BBCBreakfast about the findings from the watchdog that has been investigating the soaring costs of looking after pets bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@markrobertson6 Unfortunately you can't question the NHS its on a pedestal & any disquiet raised is treated as violence. Things will be made to frustrate the patient...wait times, lateness on appointments, rude staff...all designed to to get a raise from you so it can be used against you.

@2147mill Also all your medical care home fees in later life paid by state (taxpayers) when you rent....home owners sell their property to fund theirs. Doesn't pay to buy.

🇬🇧 Tom - Investor £120K
The average UK mortgage is £200,000 at 5% over 25 years. Total repayment? £350,000. You borrow £200K and pay back £350K. £150,000 straight to the bank. For nothing. Then you pay to fix up the house. Stuff breaks. You pay insurance monthly. Fees when/if you sell the property. And we act like renting is throwing money away. There is a strong argument for renting.

Developers will be required to install solar panels and heat pumps in all new homes in England as part of updated planning requirements published by the government. Energy minister Michael Shanks told #BBCBreakfast plug-in panels that homeowners can self-install on balconies will also be available in supermarkets in the coming months bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Raja Miah@recusant_raja

How much influence do they now have? It's a question I'm asked constantly. This screenshot is from an Eid party at Number 10. Standing next the Prime Minister is Arooj Shah, leader of Oldham Council. For those new to this scandal, Shah's brother is a convicted money launderer. Her childhood friend is Irish Imy, convicted heroin dealer and getaway driver for a cop killer. She is regularly seen in his company, including riding through town in the passenger seat of his Bentley. She celebrated her election victory with a convicted kidnapper and torturer. For years Shah blocked a council vote for a public inquiry into the Pakistani rape gangs and used Andy Burnham's police force to target those who campaigned against the cover-up. At the same time, she openly endorsed physical attacks on her political opponents. No mainstream political party will speak the truth of what is happening in towns like mine. Journalists not only refuse to touch it, some help hide it. Those from the communities I come from know exactly what awaits them if they speak out. Recently, a potential opposition candidate had his car set alight and his family home set on fire. His mother was inside. He has since stepped down from running against Shah's candidate. The Prime Minister knows. He and his party depend on this arrangement with Pakistani Muslims like Shah to stay in power. Shah is not an exception. Across the country, the Labour Party is infested with Pakistani politicians just like her. We still have a little time left to save our nation from what is coming. But only if people refuse to look away. Share this. Talk about it. Say it out loud in places where it makes people uncomfortable. The only thing protecting this network is silence, and that silence depends on your fear. _________ I’m Raja Miah MBE. For seven years, I led a campaign that exposed how senior Labour politicians helped protect Pakistani rape gangs. The people of my town helped force the national inquiry. You won’t see me on the BBC. You won’t read my work in the legacy press. That’s not an accident. I take this to a place from where there is no coming back. My work is free. No paywalls. No gatekeeping. No exclusions. Because the truth shouldn’t belong only to those who can afford it. If you can afford to do so, supporting me costs as little as 75p a week (£30 a year). Sign up here; 👉 redwallandtherabble.co.uk If you can’t commit to a regular subscription, a one-off contribution genuinely helps keep this alive. You can support me using one of these links; 👉 BuyMeACoffee.com/recusantnine 👉 paypal.me/RecusantNine We’re up against a machine, politicians, police, officials, and media, working together to shrink, sanitise, and bury the truth. This work survives because of you. If you’ve ever shared my posts, learned something, or felt less alone reading them, stand with me. I need your help. Raja 🙏

Restore Britain is the political party that will unapologetically fight for British women. And I mean real women, biological women. There will be no pussyfooting around that with our party. A man who wears a dress and believes himself to be a woman, is a man. No amount of surgery or makeup will ever change that. It just doesn’t. We will NOT bastardise biological reality. Allowing it degrades and insults what it means to be a woman. Restore Britain is clear. Men will be kept out of women only spaces. If they enter those spaces, they will be removed. Without apology. If they continue to do so, they will be prosecuted. There will be no men in women’s sports. We will not allow stronger, faster, more muscular men to steal sporting opportunities from women. It is pathetic, to be honest. Those attempted it should be ashamed. It is cheating. Pure and simple. We will protect young girls, and give them the opportunity to compete fairly and honestly. Restore Britain will repeal the Gender Recognition Act. Does that make us ‘transphobic’? I honestly don’t care. Our position on women’s prisons is that no biological men will be allowed in women’s prisons. Zero. If there are safety issues, make alternative arrangements. No man will ever be placed into a woman’s prison. End of story. It is really not complicated. Is it? A Restore Britain Government will support women, if they choose, to raise children. We will reward families with meaningful tax relief. Raise thresholds, widen VAT exemptions for essential child-related items, and expand tax-deductible childcare costs. I am open to the idea of lifelong tax reductions for mothers - going through labour is certainly deserving of it. Child benefit would be front-loaded so that mums have the financial support they need in the early years, rather than when the child is older and less time-consuming. We will not crack down on private sector working from home, as Farage has pledged. That is a choice for the employer and employee. Clearly, flexible working allows mums to be with their children, and also get back into work - where appropriate for the job, that is a positive development. Obviously. If a British woman wants to bring children into the world, a Restore Britain Government would work to help make that possible. And yes, that means making Britain safe again. Removing foreign sex pests and perverts, but also brutally cracking down on the homegrown ones too - and sadly there are plenty. We would inflict long-lasting sentences on these criminals. The foreign ones would be deported, the domestic ones imprisoned. No early release schemes here. If we have to build more prisons, we will build more prisons. We will just do things. I want to restore Britain to how it was when I was growing up. Women felt safe in their town centres, secure. Welcome. And yes, even on a Friday night after a few drinks. It’s all changed now. Women shouldn’t have to significantly alter their behaviour because of the deviance of others. Of course there have always been issues, but it is so much worse now and other parties just refuse to even discuss the problem. Our first official spokesperson announced was on women’s safety. A hero for women's safety, Orla Minihane. This matters to me, this matters to us. I want a Britain that women can call home. There is now a political party that will stand for those women - proudly and unapologetically. Restore Britain.
