Absolutely right! I teach Cuban foreign policy in Africa. And my students are always surprised when I tell them that Cuba was the only country to defeat Apartheid South Africa militarily. Not once but twice (1975 & 1988), protecting Angola from occupation from Apartheid SA and playing big role in independence of Namibia.
