@elonmusk you must be aware that we give thanks to our beloved Veterans who risked their lives for us and fought in far away lands with some names we couldn’t pronounce or never heard of. These brave Veterans gave us the freedoms we are enjoying today. Before you started tampering with the algorithms, we had more fun and excitedly watched as our work was enjoyed by so many. Now you’ve apparently ‘adjusted’ the algos and our work is seldom seen. What happened to your promise of making “Twitter fun”? The Town Hall? This is an anti-social media platform and you’re running talented people off of this platform. Have something against people winning and/or having fun and meeting like-minded people? It takes time to find the right meme or video clip and select the handles for the occasion. This is Military Appreciation Month - what kind of strict controls will you place on us for Memorial Day as we pause to remember those brave soldiers who did not return home? You offered us elongated trains with a 50 seat capacity and charged us $8.00 for each account. Now I hear that you don’t like ‘trains’ - and are suspending those that you consider “spammy”. I wouldn’t have the foggiest idea how to spew spam and not the least bit interested in knowing how. I am only here to help fellow Veterans have some kind of enjoyment here and build their accounts. Many suffer with flash backs and PTSD and these surprise ‘trains’ that I run lift their spirits and delight in telling me how many new Veterans they found to follow. I have never seen them happier. I do wish you would spend as much time making Twitter fun again as you do in trying to stop us from enjoying ourselves. I've been contacted by many fellow Veterans seeking counsel and a listening ear. When I give them the Veterans Crisis Line number, they often tell me they're okay—but they felt the responder was rushed and eager to take the next call. I still remember the first Veteran who reached out to me. I spent nearly two hours just listening. A few days later, I received a heartfelt thank-you note. He had started counseling and was meeting with his minister.
