@nypost I have been forced to live with Security since 2019 when I was doxxed by the media for reporting honestly on Islam. Not one single conservative media outlet supported me or my family or condemned what happened to us. Nor did a single politician. 🤔

We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways. Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head: -Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione -Ginny was not Ginny -Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film -Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book -Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain) -Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup -Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts -Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that) -Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead -Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

Why are they remaking Harry Potter when there's no problem with the current movies?

@vesper447 @SeverusChud Severus Snape WAS THE ONE. Ewan Michael, a fine British actor with thin lips, an aquiline nose, a pale complexion, and a BITTER expression that the other guy hasn't shown in a single frame yet. They're just looking for controversy.

@StefanMolyneux That is not all that the text has to say about it. It also commands men to love their wives as themselves and how many fail at that? And you should come to Christ based on faith in Him. Not by what christians do.

I would truly respect Christians if they actually followed the Bible and demanded that wives submit to their husbands. But they don't believe So why should I believe?

@charlesmurray There is no evidence of human origins in Africa. All archaeological evidence places the origin of human civilisation in the Mesopotamia Valley, and it spread from there.

Serious question: which of Wade’s major claims—evolution since dispersal from Africa has been extensive, has included cognitive traits, and has mostly been local—has been refuted?
gen0m1cs@gen0m1cs

@charlesmurray Nicholas Wade not being a geneticist or psychometrician by training made 'A Troublesome Inheritance' very susceptible to critique from mainstream geneticists (e.g., David Reich), even if his main point was directionally correct. Even Gregory Cochran wasn't the biggest fan.

@MaraAgainToo @ApostateProphet @grok I know. I was looking for confirmation that there was no Persian connection. You'd be amazed how many people would reject the Bible but accept ai as infallible truth.

You can't be a Christian and attack a text of the Bible. The Book of Esther is an important part of the Bible and tells a very meaningful story wherein the people of God prevail against those who want to wipe them out. The Masoretic text doesn't mention God at all, but this only makes the book more impactful. It delivers the message that even when you are weakened and in distant lands, and God is seemingly absent, He is still there and watches over everything and guides His people. The Septuagint does mention God but the message is the same, aside from other spiritual meanings found in the text. Esther is also not a book about the "genocide of Persians" and certainly not about killing women and children. On the contrary, the theme of the book is that the Jews in the land are on the verge of being wiped out, but they rise against the odds, with the help of God, and end up fighting and killing all those MEN WHO HATE THEM AND WANT TO HARM THEM. This is all done by God's Providence. This is the Bible. This is the scripture. If you think this is a "genocide" and attack this story and text, then you are attacking the Bible and condemning God.
