This MRI study on young kids just exposed something terrifying:
They scanned the brains of 60 children aged 3–5 — including 5-year-old Rose — and found interactive screen time is causing measurable loss of white matter in their developing brains. Even just 2 hours a day is linked to impaired neural connectivity, language, and literacy development.
Professor Mike Nagel (neuroscientist and father) said his first reaction was simply: “Wow… I was not anticipating seeing anything like that.”
We’re physically changing children’s brains before they even start school — and the damage is visible on scans.
This one actually unsettled me. I’ve always suspected too much screen time was bad, but seeing real white matter loss in toddlers hits different.
Parents of little ones — has this kind of research changed how much screen time you allow?

9-month-old baby with Down syndrome says his first word ever.
"This season has been hard and a bit isolating at times BUT it's so much more bright than the internet or doctors lead us to believe," the boy's mother said.
"God doesn't waste a single step and he's building something new, I'm learning to rest in that and I'm SO grateful to have Hank as our proof. He is working and blessing us in unique ways."
An estimated 67% - 85% of pregnancies in the United States with a Down syndrome diagnosis are aborted.
While most people with Down syndrome experience cognitive delays, they go on to live fulfilling, productive, and happy lives.
May God bless this child.

This woman woke up at 4 AM in 20° cold, worked out for two hours, faced a packed college Monday… and her first thought?
“I woke up this morning. I’m healthy. I get to move my body. I get to learn. And above all—Jesus loves me. Not because of anything I’ve done. Just because I’m His.”
No complaints. Just tears of gratitude.
A beautiful reminder: The greatest privilege isn’t the workout, the degree, or the sunrise—it’s waking up known and loved by our Creator.
If you’re breathing today, you’re already blessed beyond measure.
Don’t let the noise steal your thankfulness.
He loves you more than you’ll ever grasp.

130 schools said no.
He led the losingest program in college football history to a national championship anyway.
Fernando Mendoza was a 2-star recruit from Miami.
He tried to walk on at his hometown school. They passed.
So did FIU.
So did FAU.
So did everyone else.
At 17, he was sitting in his bedroom, crying over a silent recruiting inbox—after driving to 18 camps with his dad and sending highlights to more than 100 programs.
Not one FBS offer.
His only option? Yale. No scholarship. No NFL path.
Everyone told him to be “realistic.”
“Know your place.”
“Be grateful.”
He didn’t listen.
Because Mendoza understood something most people miss:
The worst outcome isn’t failing.
It’s never getting the chance to try.
Two weeks before signing day in 2022, his phone rang.
Cal needed a body. One offer. Out of 134 schools.
He took it.
He arrived as the third-string quarterback.
Spent a year on the scout team.
Lost his first four starts.
Got sacked 41 times behind a broken offensive line.
Still got up. Every time.
Then Cal brought in a transfer instead of building around him.
So Mendoza left the only school that had ever said yes.
He transferred to Indiana—the losingest program in college football history.
People laughed.
“Career suicide.”
“Graveyard program.”
“Nobody wins there.”
One coach told him something different:
“I’m going to make you the best Fernando Mendoza possible.”
That was enough.
Mendoza wasn’t just playing for football.
His mother has battled multiple sclerosis for 18 years.
Before every snap, he thought of her.
“My mother is my why.”
Indiana went 16–0.
Beat six Top-10 teams.
Won their first Big Ten title since 1945.
Mendoza threw 41 touchdowns.
Won the Heisman—first in school history.
First Cuban-American to ever do it.
Then came the title game.
Miami. Near his hometown.
Fourth-and-4. Season on the line.
Quarterback draw.
The kid 134 schools rejected spun through defenders and dove into the end zone.
Game over.
Indiana—national champions.
The losingest program became the best team in America.
All because a 17-year-old refused to believe “no” was the end.
Rankings don’t decide your ceiling.
Gatekeepers don’t write your ending.
Being overlooked isn’t a verdict—it’s a starting point.
Sometimes all you need is one shot…
and the courage to bet on yourself when nobody else will.
Don’t quit.

NEW: Community comes together and buys a South Bend, Indiana, man a new vehicle after his beat-up Chevy Silverado went viral online.
Mo Riles says his truck was severely damaged over the years.
Thanks to the fact that Indiana doesn't require routine vehicle inspections, Riles was able to keep driving the truck.
Local detailing shop owner Colin Crowel took note of the truck and decided to do something about the situation.
Crowel was able to raise $22,000, which was used to buy Riles a new truck.
"Here's a human being seeing another human being struggle. And I'm like, wow, what did I do to deserve this?" Riles said.
"This whole thing is not about me. It's about this community bonding together. God is good."

@WatchChad As a Pittsburgher, the Texans were the better team, and the outcome showed that. Good luck to them in their playoff run.

🚨BREAKING: Campbell Soup’s VP and Chief Information Security Officer, Martin Bally, was secretly recorded saying the company uses bioengineered meat, their products aren’t healthy, and that it’s mostly poor people who buy them.
"We have shit for fucking poor people. Who buys our shit? I don’t buy Campbell’s products barely anymore. It’s not healthy now that I know what the fuck‘s in it. Bioengineered meat! I don’t wanna eat a fucking piece of chicken that came from a 3-D printer."
