This is an unacceptable behavior and I am happy we don’t have to suffer this in our own environment. That’s one of the reasons why I believe it’s important the categories are separated as especially in terms of behavior women are more respectful to each other.

@fionchetta It’s ridiculous that the „chess avantgarde“ tries to be a part of WC conversations, they will never be a part of or even close… They spilt the titles, why not mentioning something like „great sportsmanship“. I would assume other sports would celebrate this…what a pity!

If only I had known that the rules were flexible, I'd have lobbied for all 10 players who tied for first to be included in the knockout. Or, if we can have two co-champions, why not 10?! Alas...

I understand that many people have criticized my decision to split the World Blitz Championship, and rightfully so. To be fair and consistent, I will also be splitting one Classical Championship each with @lachesisq and @HansMokeNiemann to help them achieve their goals.
