I had a great evening presenting at #ScienceOnTap @RoyalCitySci with @MacstrokeCan. We talked about how sex & gender affect cardiovascular risk for stroke and how exercise/lifestyle changes are key to reducing these risks. Tailored programs can improve #WomensHealth📸@glenpyle

Defense day is always a huge day for the lab and today was another big one. Dr Kenny Noguchi’s hard work culminated in a very successful PhD defense to cap off 10 years at McMaster 🎉🎉🎉 He’s off to UBCO next but remember Kenny, McMaster will always be where it all started!

I am watching the COPA America 2024 finals between Argentina and Columbia. I lost count of the number of players that seem to have suffered a life altering, catastrophic injury on the pitch, and then miraculously recovered!
