06/07 is probably the right answer, but he had a pretty good case basically every other year, especially in 04/05. I compared his best seasons with the other candidates combining tracking/impact stats with my own custom metrics (DAWG & Def Role Rtg) x.com/s_brickbeltra/…

Not even those last 3 games, but 16 Bron wire to wire gets massively underrated just due to proxy of (arguably) peaking the same year as a 73 win, offensive supernova season

volume absorption is underrated, but even more what volume absorption looks like outside a helio context: peak klay was almost anti-usage and still absorbed insane volume — best-guard POA reps, constant motion, then scaling both up in transitional lineups

Shai is scoring 31.6 PPG and there are *29* players this season who miss more shots per game than him The efficiency at that volume is just completely mind-boggling

@DeanO_Lytics @Bballjunky11 Dean, I'm not sure if you're still honoring this. Finally finished last night after purchasing it during the Nebraska Press sale! Thanks for pushing the game forward. Insightful read, particularly the parts about not game planning for the opponent.
