@DT2ComicsChat Galactus could erect permanent force shields that the Silver Surfer couldn't even break through so to have Sue stop Galactus with her force shields is laughable. They mega-nerfed Galactus.

Still feel exactly the same. •Pedro casting was wrong and can't be gotten past. •Bland, bland, bland, no aura for Marvel's first family. •Absolutely no good in-story reason to have She-Surfer instead of Norrin. Just pure Woke™. •Galactus was awesome, but rewritten for Sue to defeat him, as opposed to what happened in the comics. •Franklin can raise the dead. Good ol' Lazarus Power Franklin. •Johnny and Ben, two of the biggest personalities in comics, felt like stand-ins. •There's not one memorable line of dialogue. Not one. •I hate those ugly Underoos costumes. #Verdict: FAIL

@cartlundmonson @johnthenoticer In case you haven’t been paying attention, all the countries with an average IQ of 105- Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore are slowly dying out with a TFR lower than 1. Humanity is cooked.

For any trait, like IQ, there are two kinds of populations. One is where the trait is not selected for in mating, and one in where it is. In the first, the trait remains random noise, with all values distributed around a base average. In the second, the trait tends towards the optimal, which brings the average up to some maximum tuned average value, still in a distribution but around the higher average. I posit the base average IQ is 85, and the best tuned average is 105. All that matters is whether a population needs and uses IQ as a mate selection. In an environment where higher IQ is valuable, people will mate based on selecting an IQ similar to theirs or a little higher. This causes the society to develop around the increasing average IQ, which makes the selection attraction even more important. Synergistic snowball. What results is a society self-engineered to require an IQ distribution close to that tuned maximum. A population with the low base average IQ will not be able to operate a high-IQ societal system. The tail on the high end is crucial, because it falls off so fast as the average moves. This population simple doesn't have enough high-IQ people to fill the positions required. Never mind high-IQ positions, in a 105 IQ society more than half the people are above the global average of 100. In an 85 IQ society, not even 20% are. 115 to 130 IQ, the upper range for normal requirements, requires 15% vs less than 2%. Short by a factor of seven. It will never work. At this point in global civilization, every single human lives within a system where high-IQ is THE primary selector. the pressure is on but it will take many generations before they actually move their average up. Until then, it is absurdly counterproductive to move the higher IQ individuals from those populations into already maximized populations. Low IQ populations need them and their progeny far worse than high-IQ populations! It is harmful to move even the average IQ ones because that reshapes the distribution curve of the maximized society downwards, which will eventually break the maximized features. This affects the base average societies too! What we could do, is raise their distribution and fill missing high competence positions by migrating high-IQ people to live there! You would have to pay those people a shit ton to get them to live there among low-IQ people. You'd also need to colonize the low-IQ population militarily to control the low-IQ features that would otherwise destroy the high-IQ immigrants! Alas, colonization and eugenics have lost favor just like IQ science though, ultimately, they are what will happen.

I'm still stunned by how successfully the left has managed to feed the Western public a steady diet of nonsense on anything related to population genetics. They've literally succeeded in making people reject the theory of evolution in their own minds. Yet the reality is so simple and logical: - Europeans and Africans are populations that followed different evolutionary paths, which led them to develop different traits. - These traits are both physical (the most obvious example being skin color) and psychological (intelligence, personality, behavior). Evolution doesn't stop at the neck. - Differences in psychological traits between populations can be substantial, leading to significant differences in behavior and "performance" within a developed society. - The most striking difference is the gap in average intelligence between African and European populations. Absolutely every cognitive test (especially IQ tests) shows that the average intelligence of Africans is significantly lower than that of Europeans. This explains why African immigrants in Europe massively underperform compared to natives in every cognitive domain, from school performance to professional outcomes. - This straightforward observation explains the vast majority of outcome disparities in our societies and completely undermines the claim that "racism" is responsible. For example, African immigrants in Europe are on average poorer because they have, on average, lower IQs. It has nothing to do with some supposed European racism against them. Same for blacks in the US. - Another major behavioral difference between populations concerns the propensity for crime, as well as pro-social or anti-social tendencies. Anyone who's looked even briefly at European crime statistics knows that Africans (and other non-European populations) are massively overrepresented in crime. And once again, the explanation lies in genetic differences between populations. In the coming weeks and months, I'll try to get back into writing well-sourced, scientifically grounded summaries on all these topics. Because this is the great taboo of our time, and it's our duty to smash it to pieces.

@daneelchia @imperial_flag No surprise, she is one of those self-loathing mega SPGs that couldn't wait to bag herself a white man. The only positive thing she ever did for Singapore was to help Amos Yee get political asylum in US (too bad it didn't work out in the end). Also lied about attending MIT.

This is the real China. In a Zhejiang, China classroom, a young girl suddenly fainted and collapsed to the floor. Nearly 20 classmates saw it happen — many kept drawing, none helped her or even alerted the teacher. The teacher remained unaware. In CCP China, “not my business” is the norm. Everyone fears getting into trouble, so society drowns in chilling indifference. This is the “harmonious” society they built. 😔 #China #CCPSociety #RealChina #EndCCP #CCP

Talk like this from business elites and from Chinese officialdom over the years is just stupid. Before they politicised it, Hong Kong people were über-keen about Mandarin and its importance. No one needed to be told that Mandarin is vital for communicating not just with Mainland Chinese, but also with Taiwanese, Singaporeans, and Malaysian Chinese. Cantonese and Mandarin was never treated as an either/or proposition by everyday Hong Kong people. It was only when talk of asserting Mandarin’s primacy at the expense of Cantonese gathered steam in the last 10-15 years that it became a cultural identity issue…

A pro-Beijing Malaysian says Hong Kongers should ditch Cantonese… 🤔 Hong Kong should replace Cantonese with Mandarin in schools in order to boost its competitiveness, 🇲🇾 Kuok Hui Kwong (郭惠光) — the chair and group chief executive of the Shangri-La luxury hotel group — said on Apr 14. Kuok is the daughter of 🇲🇾 Robert Kuok, founder of the hotel group and Malaysia’s richest man. “We should really revamp our public education system. Our next generation has to be much more connected to China in terms of language and culture … One way to do this could be over time to make Putonghua [Standard Mandarin] the main medium of instruction in schools.” “Another way could be for Hong Kong to invite some of the best public schools in China to open campuses here, just like we have done for international schools for decades.” Mandarin is increasingly common in Hong Kong across trading floors and in business contexts as large numbers of mainland Chinese professionals arrive in the territory. Beijing has pushed for the use of Mandarin in schools across mainland China, including in Guangdong province, the region around Hong Kong, which is primarily Cantonese-speaking. That has caused tension with locals who feel their identity is under pressure. About 55 million people speak Cantonese across China, including Hong Kong, according to the Encyclopaedia Britannica. The language is a central part of local culture, with a rich body of classical literature, as well as Hong Kong’s storied film industry. The Shangri-La group counts mainland China as its largest source of revenue, with an equity interest in 50 hotels out of 82 worldwide. It counted $630M of consolidated revenue from mainland China, out of a total $2B in 2025. The hotel group is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange but controlled by the Kerry Group, the Kuok family holding company. Kuok’s comments encapsulate attempts by Hong Kong’s business community to improve relations between the former British territory and mainland China in order to strengthen its role as an offshore hub for the world’s second-largest economy.  ft.com/content/1de89d…
