Need to introduce quirks. Mine was natural (she was seriously my type) and I improvised it. A pre-planned one could be wearing goofy colorful socks, suddenly talking about how much you love your mom, etc A sprinkle of beta so you don't teeter too far into Bad Boy Playa territory, and get back to the Nice Bad Boy sweet spot

George Carlin infected Gen-X with this horrible apathy towards everything. The statue doesn’t just mock nationalism but belief itself. Any ideology, any group, any loyalty. It’s like they think they’re the first person to discover ideologies or positions all have tradeoffs, and because they’re not perfect it’s better to stand against them all. It’s as childish as it is false. A few minute conversation with anyone who puts on this front will quickly reveal which ideologies they feel are above such critiques. When exposed that John Stewart wry smile turns into the most vitriolic anger you’ve ever seen.

RE as an investment rental: Tenant risk, Vacancy risk, Physical domain risk, Maintenance costs, Termites/Storms etc. Bonds: Loser to inflation, illiquid, opaque, nobody understands them in explicit & transparent terms Equities: "The S&P goes up 8-10% a year." We've all heard it a million times. STRC is a slightly better return but the real magic is the little-to-no Vol, that is the magic ingredient. Money Markets & CDs: is anything in life more boring than a money market or a CD? Even municipal bonds are more interesting.

its one thing to be good at dating and another to be 'good' in a relationship... the former could imply you could just float along dating for your whole life.. there is a formulaic way to act/behave to become good at dating.. rinse repeat cycle.. to be 'good' for long term relationship imho is to 'know thyself'... which is sincerely a heros journey unto its own

I absolutely prefer those houses to these monsters below. They are harmonious with their surroundings and do not offend the senses. It is a humble, rustic aesthetic worthy of upholding the dignity of the family that lives in it. I see that block and I see an older Singapore; a unique nostalgia fills my heart. And you didn’t even pick much better ones, thinking you can land a cheap shot. By contrast, I see the properties below and I feel nothing positive. Gaudy, disharmonious, proudly fake. I would never want to meet the owners. I would feel sorry for the pets they keep.
