Yes but the main difference is this year a new suprise british contender emerged in the bafta nominations that won against all offs the british Bafta …. However he is not nominated for the oscars so it leaves the path openfor Chalamet to win the oscars because usually the actor won wins the critics choice awards and the golden globes ends up winning the Oscar….
