@asaio87 @kylegawley Just wondering, do you have any stories or experience where it did break things? I do agree that it's important to have a more senior, experienced Dev to be able to guide overall architecture, organization, and structure. Keep things organized.

@MumboCedric @mbiti_mwondi So you just assumed basic economic factors and came with 'Equity grew because of Kibaki"

@mbiti_mwondi Kwenda huko mbali. This assumption on this timeline that you know everything is so sickening. Equity isn't a direct result of James Mwangi's business shrewdness, but Equity became what it's because of Kibaki period. James is good, equity grew exponentially because of Kibaki

I have had this conversation with several people especially those in banking and finance that Equity bank’s business model is very different from the others. I worked there for 5 years and I understand how and why James Mwangi moves the way he moves; unlike other CEOs he actually single handedly built Equity to what it is the likes of Oigara,Awori and Oduor are just CEOs that came in as executives in already established and government backed banks but James built it from a Murang’a chamaa to a world powerhouse. And he always told us if you think the salary is low move to those big banks. Same way people complain of Bezos exploiting Amazon employees but he’s been paying them like that for 30 years and the business keeps growing why should he change? Enda fungua bank yako he’d always say,a shrewd business man in my book the best that ever came out of Kenya, no one comes close to James in my opinion.

A 75 billion shilling revenue, but that bank treats its staff like disposable tissue paper. I have never, in my life, met a person who is happy to work in that bank.

There isn’t a luckier person than this guy here. He’s a very lucky boy. His name is Davis Chirchir. You’ll never hear him say anything. He’s the current CS for Transport. Before that, he was CS for Energy & Petroleum, he did nothing during his time, came up with no policy, no TV interviews no nothing. In 2024, Ruto dismissed the entire cabinet, him too. He said nothing. He later was reinstated and this time moved to Roads & Transport Ministry, he has been in it doing nothing. Since 2025 till now, we have had very many fatal accidents, no one has seen him say a thing. He has never come up with any policy or anything for road safety, he doesn’t even go with the President to launch new roads. We recently had Matatu strike in Nairobi that paralyzed transport & vehicles were burnt, he said nothing. We’re currently having floods in Nairobi and most parts, his ministry is directly responsible for the floods due to poor drainage in most major roads like jogoo road, Mombasa road, Thika road & some roads are impassable but he has said nothing. He doesn’t go to TV interviews, even during cabinet meetings he says nothing. The funny thing is, he says nothing & we also asking him nothing. seems like no one asks him anything. He’s not bothered and we’re not bothered either. All he does is to wait end month, go to the bank, withdraw his salary and go home. He’s a very lucky boy.

@WelBeast Mathematically impossible City has 2 PL games before playing Arsenal (palace match will be moved) , even if they lost both they could potentially finish with 81 points Arsenal has 2 OL games before City, even winning them both would only get to 73 points

US did not attack Iran from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. But, Iran attacked these countries unprovoked, including the headquarters of Islam. Meanwhile, they did not attack Turkey. Despite Turkey being a strong US ally and hosts US military base. Because they know Turkey is capable to retaliate in equal measure. Iran just went after their weaker brothers just to show they're busy. This is why it is a global threat to allow them hold Nuclear weapons.

Among the Development Projects we have done in Kiharu Constituency, this is quite elating. The MWAI KIBAKI Tuition Block is almost ready for learners at Kiharu Technical and Vocational College (Kiharu TVC). President Mwai Kibaki is a Leader who woke up every morning as President to serve our Country, Kenya. He subjugated his personal aggrandisement and this gave him clarity of thought & purpose. Our Country rose to unprecedented levels Economically. We are African and Africa is our Business..

Major cheat code in life: Master the graceful exit. From conversations. From parties. From opportunities. “This has been wonderful, but I need to go.” No elaborate excuses. No fake emergencies. Just clear kind departure. Most people don’t know how to leave. They stay too long or leave badly. Master the exit.

C++: Understanding static vs. global linkage Notice the static keyword in the image? The compiler uses it to make smarter decisions. After parsing, the optimization passes kick in: 1️⃣ Constant Folding Inputs are constants, so the result (10) is calculated at compile time. 2️⃣ Inlining The function calls in main are replaced with the raw result 10. 3️⃣ Dead Code Elimination Look at the top-right pane (-O3): - The static Foo is deleted (unused & internal). - But the global foo is kept! ⚠️ Why? Default linkage is external. The compiler preserves foo for potential linking by other files. Can we fix this? Yes, with the Link Time Optimization (-flto). The linker examines all modules, confirms no one calls foo, and finally removes the dead code.
