Since the US and Israel began their illegal war on Iran, over 1,300 Iranians have been killed and nearly a third are children. At least 20 schools and 10 hospitals have been targeted. These are grave war crimes. In Lebanon, over 600 people have been killed including 86 children, and 700,000 people have been displaced. The UK must immediately end its complicity in this illegal war: no US use of UK bases, no arms sales, no surveillance support, no military cooperation. With his brilliant Black Baptist preacher speech-making - like Martin Luther King - Jesse Jackson was one of the greatest political orators of our generation. Twice, in 1984 and 1988, he got millions of people - young, progressive, Black and white - fired up to support his bid to become Democratic nominee for US President.
