Exactly a month ago, my dad went into an open heart surgery that ended up being so complicated he almost didn’t survive. But after 13 hours (!!), he made it out. Thanksgiving in a hospital was not on my 2023 wishlist, but I am just dang thankful my dad is still here 🙏
