@retireearlybro I am quite opposite to you. I am really stating my life at 42. I was in hell between 2015 to2025. But what I learned are real life lesson.

I retired early at 36 in 2019 with $3M. Then 2020 hit. 😱 The market crashed - and my portfolio dropped to $2.2M. I had planned well. On paper, I was ready. But living through this? Completely different story! 😵 It wasn't the math that tested me - it was the psychology.

Youth is deeply overrated. Movies sell as if 16-27 are the best years of your life, but mine were just a series of small jobs, bad sex, weird interactions, low money and no freedom. At 35 I was married to the love of my life, had a cool job and money to travel, at 43 I have two amazing kids and I am fitter than I was at 23. Can’t do an all-nighter anymore but I can probably lift more than I could back then.

@Nithya_Shrii It's a loosing game for both. One of them may have slight advantage. We indians glorify marriage. Actually that a prison you live till your death. The only advantage some people end up in cell where the cellmates (family members) are reliable and helpful.

Unless you’re extremely lucky Marriage is losing game for men.

@The_Anush_way Same applicable to me. Almost 10 years. Near zero sucess. Very low paying job. Not able to study further. Now I got a Government Job in a peaceful place . Life starts at 40.

Exams crushed me mentally. Appeared in 32 → failed them all. 33rd try? Finally landed a job. Suddenly, life started falling into place. Govt or private - doesn't matter. Just grab ANY job. It flips your mindset & sparks real drive. Keep pushing 💪
