THE DESTRUCTION OF GUINEA BY FRANCE
For all those Africans who support France or are Western apologists, please read this.
In 1958, Guinea was the only country that voted "No" on the referendum to join the CFA Franc, the currency imposed and controlled by France that all independence-aspiring colonies were forced to use.
Guinea also demanded the immediate departure of all French representatives from its territory.
France left, but not before it pillaged the country's natural reserves and poured concrete into the water pipe systems.
Then, as any "self-respecting" ally does, France implemented "Operation Persil." The French secret service flooded Guinea with counterfeit banknotes, causing its currency and economy to tank completely. They even went as far as destroying public records, pillaging the national monetary reserve, Burning medicine caches, pouring concrete into the water system,
All of this happened under the "great" French President Charles de Gaulle, the same De Gaulle who, just years earlier, had begged French-speaking African countries to send their young men to defend France against the Germans.
Guinea had sent 40,000 men in the First World War and 180,000 men in the Second World War. As you likely know, these men were used as literal cannon fodder with an extremely high death rate. This was a contribution for which they were only fully recognized by France in the 3rd millennium, long after almost all remaining Guinean "ancient combatants" had passed away.
Throughout the 1960s, France, now in control of the rest of West Africa, utilized their "lapdog," Félix Houphouët-Boigny (the President of Ivory Coast who sold out African interests by derailing the African Union project led by Kwame Nkrumah). Together, De Gaulle and Houphouët-Boigny essentially embargoed Guinea to cause massive economic despair. This was done so that no other African country could use Guinea as an example of true liberation.
So, if any of you have any notions of supporting France, or if you are surprised that France has been accused of financing and aiding terrorists to destabilize and destroy Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso after having ravaged Libya, if any of you are surprised, now you know.
