@CrownedJakster @TyDaneGonzalez He’s almost 30. I been telling people for a few years he’s not a number 1, but our fans love to overhype our own players. Hes had one standout year, otherwise hes mostly been fine.

I've been — and still am — highly skeptical about the possibility of a George Kirby extension, but at this point, whatever money the Mariners were setting aside for Logan Gilbert, they should probably wave at George instead (and maybe they have/are planning to).

Sounds like Cal Raleigh will go through a more thorough evaluation tomorrow, when the Mariners return to Seattle. No timeline to return yet. Oblique strains, especially for a switch-hitter and a catcher, can linger. And he’s obviously been grinding through it for 2 weeks.
