This is awful: Francis Bergsma, the 15-year-old son of renowned Catholic theologian John Bergsma, has died of brain cancer. Please pray for Francis and the whole Bergsma family.

@KevinRobertsTX Stay tuned to see which major-media outlet will decide, about a week before Easter, that it's time for a big story debunking Christian faith in the Resurrection. It happens every year.

It’s no accident that Pamela chose the first week of Lent to release this. The world saw one of the most prominent voices on the Right martyred by a radical leftist, with his death celebrated by the Left at large—but it’s conservative Christians you need to worry about. This is pure bigotry from an increasingly anti-Christian, anti-American Left that tolerates all kinds of dogmas influencing people’s politics—except those of conservative Christians. But as we start Lent today, I pray, in the spirit of Christian charity, for all those who see religion as the enemy or some sort of obstacle, to come to see God’s truth and love. America’s Golden Age would be even brighter were that to happen.

CNN's Pamela Brown announces she's been working on a "special project" warn against "Christian nationalism" and portrays them as a radicalized threat to the country. She then launches into a report where she fears the assassination of Charlie Kirk uniting Christians and scoffs at the idea that Christians were being targeted with hate and violence: PAMELA BROWN: Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and prominent Christian nationalist, was assassinated. It became a rallying call for those who believed in his message. (...) And it was a call to action. MATTHEW TAYLOR (Georgetown University Center of Faith and Justice): Memorial service was one of the most potent examples of this shift in our culture that we're experiencing right now, where a large segment of American Christians are being activated by these ideas, radicalized by these ideas that say that they are the persecuted ones and that they need to stand up for Christians rights.

I was impressed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference. He indeed addressed a number of particular political issues, but what most grabbed my attention was his stress on the common culture that unites Europe and America. He cited Dante, Shakespeare, the Sistine Chapel, Cologne Cathedral—even the Beatles as expressions of basic cultural intuitions that still inform the West. But he pressed the matter further, insisting, in the spirit of both Christopher Dawson and Pope Benedict XVI, that that culture is grounded ultimately in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Basic to his presentation was the conviction that Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.

As a Catholic, this was incredibly special. Walking the Vatican with the Swiss Guard — men who've dedicated their lives to protecting the Holy Father — is something I'II never forget. Moments like this remind you that faith isn't just history….. it's living tradition #Vatican

Inflight yesterday, while reciting my rosary, I noticed a man seated beside me doing the same. I was genuinely fascinated. After we landed, I asked him what inspired this devotion. He smiled and said, “My grandmother taught my mother and me, and now I’m passing it on to my children.” His wife added that he cannot do without the rosary, that he even wakes up at night to pray it, and that their children have embraced it as well. Wow 👏🏽👏🏽 Do you do same?
