Just realized that all the people from my writing group asking why I named my cat Cinder was fishing for me to say she was named after "Cinderpelt" from the Warrior Cat series and not "Gwynn, Lord of Cinder" from Dark Souls (I've never read Warriors)

@Nerdwiththehat I was dressed in civie clothes and had Anya with me and it is an entirely different experience than it was 13 years ago I'll tell you that much. Can't wait to go back tbfh

got a dm from an old discord group of some of the youtube homies, and man i really do miss those days. i truly love the people i met through tf2 and youtube, whenever i see y'all pop up on my feeds i just smile. even if we don't talk i promise you, we're friends for life.

@BaronDestructo I love being on set for the first hour and then it turns into a battle of where I can look to space out that doesn't look like I'm staring at someone. Craft service is a nice bonus, though.

What I LOVE most and DISLIKE most about production: DISLIKE Writing Notes calls Editing Being on set Long prep meetings LOVE Going to the craft service truck in the morning and getting a grilled cheese sandwich stuffed with breakfast sausage and a side of sriracha for dipping.

@BaronDestructo Interesting about DS9 and BSG. DS9 takes a bit to find it's footing but it's writing quality is outmatched (though I'm sure you've heard that before.) The fact you haven't seen BSG is surprising because I have seen SGU compared to BSG quite a lot.

Since many are asking about my decision to exclude certain shows, this list is made up of only the shows I have watched. As a result, BSG, TNG, DS9 and Dr. Who don't make the list because I haven't seen them (although given everything I've heard - and judging from the odd episode I have seen - DS9 is at the top of the list of shows I really need to check out). I've also limited my picks to live-action shows otherwise anime series like Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex would squeeze a few of my current contenders out of the Top 10. Most of my picks hinge on how I felt (or feel) watching/rewatching each of these shows. A lot of them make my top ten because they bring back happy memories, not only of the shows themselves but of my life at the time I was enjoying them.

@BaronDestructo Nah. I'd rather treat it like a movie and break out a pizza/popcorn. Pilots have to make a great first impression without wasting viewers' time and sometimes that involves having a longer episode to keep important things from being left out and build the tension for Ep. 2.

Be honest. Are you less likely to check out a show if its pilot/premiere episode is more than an hour long?
