Yesterday, our co-founder @mattzarb joined @AnimalAid to take the case to End Greyhound Racing straight to Number 10. The petition set out the overwhelming public concern about the cruelty in greyhound racing – from overbreeding and confinement, to serious injuries, drugging and death. The campaign was taken directly into Parliament with the official launch of a new report by @GREY2KUSA and @LeagueACS hosted by Neil Duncan‑Jordan MP. The parliamentary reception marked the publication of Reaching the Finish Line: Time to End Dog Racing in the UK. @Gamban are proud to be part of a new coalition group, Greyhound Freedom UK. Thank you so much to the tens of thousands who have supported this cause. The case for change is now firmly in the Government's hands.

Remember, whilst Keir Starmer was smearing huge swathes of the public as “far right,” using 24/7 courts and locking people up for quickly deleted posts. He knew about Axel Rudakubana having ricin and an Isis manual. Gaslighting on another level and it won’t be forgotten, ever.

When Keir Starmer visited Southport after the stabbing rampage which killed three children and left five in hospital fighting for their lives. He was there for less than a minute. When he visited Peacehaven mosque where the porch was set on fire. He was there for half a day and gave them £10 million to make them feel safe. Let that sink in!

@BensBetsOnX Avoidable -really. Man weighing under 10st is not as strong as half ton of horse.

It was built for British children, because it was in Britain At that time most British children were white To claim that was some kind of racist conspiracy is insane The BBC has a hidden agenda which is against the beliefs of the majority of British people
Basil the Great@BasilTheGreat

The BBC has announced that the UK education system wasn't built for black children and the problem is it was built for 'whiteness' The anti-white racism at the BBC is incredible They really do despise us

All horses and jockeys ok after the Grand National. The animal rights brigade will be gutted.

@tony_calvin Jordans did a 13 second furlong after three out which is staggering in a National.

A lot of people on here giving it to Ben Jones for trying to win the race. Poorly, with justification, perhaps. But I'd have a lot more time for the critics if they called out those who blatantly were not doing the same in other races at Aintree today. They all saw those rides.

@Moray_Smith I'd love to know the distance covered by each horse. No doubt Townend saved masses of ground around the inner particularly from Bechers to after the Canal Turn on both circuits. He ran less than the rest. Simply brilliant ride.

Immediate post National thoughts: 1. Jordans went from last to first in a short period of time. Energy reserves need to be used more efficiently. Best horse in the race at the weights for me but far from the best ride. 2. How does I am Maximus jump like that and still run so well every year!! 3. Did the weight Iroko picked up for beating Firefox cost him the race? Possibly. 4. Captain Cody would have been among it had he not unseated. 5. My shortlist of 6 in today's RP article had the first three and 3 fallers. The race is not the lottery some folk think! 6. Jordans will be the ideal age at 8 next year and will again be trained for the race. Next year's Iroko-sized each way bet for me probably 😂

@GLynchRacing It was a brilliant ride given how the horse was travelling & also badly impeded but at the fourth last it imploded badly and he ran a 13 second furlong which was staggering.

I didn’t back Jordans in the National but I think Ben Jones will not sleep tonight. Got there literally a mile too soon. Terrible ride. I Am Maximus - what a horse to carry top weight and win after not jumping particularly well. 👏 Paul Townend 👏 (C’mon Rory)

NATIONAL - I've no doubt Townend won by taking the shortest route, certainly from Bechers to after the Canal Turn on both circuits, saved every inch. My bet Iroko ran super and wins 2027 on Soft. Jordans (3rd) ran a 13sec furlong turning for home which is crazy.

@Alan_Alger_ Arsenal perhaps more concerned about not losing than winning, too much reliance on set pieces than open play. Hope Arteta "goes for it" in future matches.

Chance of winning the league coming down to 68.7% ahead of City’s visit to Chelsea. It won’t feel like that, but there we go… #AFC

Another big field handicap dominated by prominently ridden runners. Maybe a lack of "fierce pace" was a reason but generally horses are not coming from off the pace at this meeting. #Aintree
