@LvilleFan1 @DBYankees1 They already implemented the 30 day rule. So every track going forward, is never going to allow horses to be claimed and shipped out of state? How is that good for the sport?
English

@DBYankees1 @LvilleFan1 And that’s her fault? Without her entries, the races wouldn’t even fill.
English

@MarkCasolo @LvilleFan1 6 horse races with Linda entering two has been a great business model for NYRA
Explains why business has been so "strong"
English

@DBYankees1 @LvilleFan1 You’re kidding, right? She’s claiming horses. Not stealing them. She’s paying for them. And the entry boxes at NYRA have rarely been “flooded”. It’s trainers like Linda who keep NYRA afloat in the winters and has always supported NY racing. Kentucky will be just fine.
English

@LvilleFan1 This practice should be put to a stop.
She's hurting the horse population in Kentucky and flooding the entry box at NYRA, often entering multiple horses in the same race.

@Absolute_Cvnt So you spend your days watching and tweeting about it…what’s your go to track then?

English

@DRFWelsch @horseflynawall Good. Means neither will win, practice players. Get scared when lights on aka adding blinkers……

@thestaggieman @PicksByDynasty You had a “feeling” after it was already announced that he was scratched. You’re such a tool lol

@RepoleStable gets on the McAfee show. Dude not only gets it, but is the only relatable guy in the sport to the outside world. One day people will start listening to him, hopefully. x.com/SJUDave/status…

A lot of horse racing, KY Derby content coming out this week, who is doing the work you like to see and why? Let's hear some names, put someone on the radar who deserves to be 👇 #KentuckyDerby #derby152
English

@fatbaldguyracin @GumbaJohnny Chief Wallabee n The Puma money has to float him to 15-1 + IMO. One of those two, may even end up 3rd choice.
English

@thestaggieman @HorseToWatch lol It’s not a grid. It’s you being afraid to be wrong and having zero actual skill…or brains.
English

@MarkCasolo @HorseToWatch Mark doesn’t know how to read a grid. It’s not complicated. It’s okay as well to be angry, you can get help for that.
English

@thestaggieman @HorseToWatch Staggie Man can’t even put together coherent sentences, but touts his picks. 8 deep each race, might I add. It’s ok to admit you’re dumb. It’s part of life.
English

@HorseToWatch David didn’t his homework, going up in class. Was embarrassed when presented with facts. It’s okay to admit you were wrong. It’s part of life.

@NUCLRGOLF Love how all the people who HAVENT broke 80, are commenting with tips

@goofonroof @stoolpresidente Subjective - information, feelings, or interpretations that are based on personal opinions, beliefs, or emotions rather than objective facts.
Youre acting like horses aren’t breaking down with 1 vet, they are. It’s not 0%. Therefore, a 2nd opinion is absolutely appropriate.
English

@MarkCasolo @stoolpresidente Examinations of horses on race day morning is a subjective process. We can't have vets disagreeing. They are highly trained professionals. It's not a debate or negotiation. One for each horse is the correct number.
English

I agree with this sentiment. Just like umps and refs do the best they can and don’t want to miss calls. But there are bad refs. Thats why there should be multiple vets so it’s majority decision. Where it gets a little nuts is when I have a ton of people look at the horse and they all agree she is good to go and we’re just breezing instead and entering again instantly. I love my horses. I’d never run them if I thought there was any issues. But when the entire world tells me there are no issues except 1 person then I think it’s fair to say more experts should be involved in the decision. I don’t think there is an agenda and I’m sure the vet did what they thought was best. Just seems antiquated to put it in the hands of 1 single person. Just like a ref or ump can make a bad call and ask for help from a group.
Vic Stauffer@goofonroof
@stoolpresidente Regulatory Vet's have no desire to scratch horses. They'd be thrilled if they LOVED how each and every one traveled. They're doing their jobs to the best of their ability. They are experts.
English

@goofonroof @stoolpresidente Stop with the “God forbid”. That can be applied to 1 vet or 100. Just stop, “In statistics, collecting more data points or conducting more trials makes the observed average converge on the true, expected value, leading to more accurate predictions”
English

@stoolpresidente Majority is fine for DQ's Dave. With horses lives at stake IMO it's different. What if it's a 2-1 vote. And god forbid the horse suffers a catastrophic injury? Could you imagine the shitstorm that would ensue? I totally understand your frustration. Hard game. Better days coming!
English

@belmostickey Casuals care NOTHING about an extra week. The casuals who flock to OTB once every year, don’t even know what race the derby is, let alone what track it’s at.
English

The Triple Crown is the one thing racing has that still attracts some casual sports fans.
This will be the end of that, and will be the final nail in the sport's coffin, as it were.
