Do y’all ever think about what saint you’re like? Not which one you like, or which one you wish you were like, but which saint you can actually see yourself in? If so, tell me which one and why.

@PrinclTodd @ChristySimm23 @KristanHawkins Is revealed truth the only truth? Can truths not explicitly stated in revealed truth be understood through revealed truth? How can I accept the Trinity which isn't explicitly stated in Scriptures when God is clearly one?

I feel bad for my non-Catholic Christian family and friends who think Mary was just some random chick. She was chosen to be the new Ark. She was chosen to literally house God in the flesh. And the proof is clear that she is active in Heaven and here on earth, forever worshipping our Creator and praying for us.

@Truth_matters20 Everything we believe about Mary is because Jesus is God, the 2nd person of the Trinity. Mary doesn’t define Jesus, Jesus defines Mary.

@layxsnv I only thought it was recently, as a sign of the apocalypse, that C was en vogue, B, the Oxford comma was created on the 8th prior to sugar and chocolate and more necessary to life.

@stevemiNumbers @CptJackKnob @5Solas2 I’ve only ever read the Gospel of John and it doesn’t say Jesus was Baptized so no, he wasn’t. Can you be saved if you only read part of the bible, but not that part where Jesus gives us the sinner’s prayer?

@1BroncoBeliever It wouldn’t. Therefore I don’t see anything happening about the whole P4, maybe there could be a P5. That ship sailed, got torpedoed burned, and floated away on the water as ash. IMO that is

JUST GIVE OKC THE RINGS ALREADY!! Shai drives, attempts to grab Kennards arm once, can’t get it, grabs it the second time, flops, refs give him free-throws!! This is not basketball. @NBAonPrime even had to admit this was embarrassing.

@mitchell76480 @swamthetiber25 Respectfully, what were Christians expected to do when Bibles were handwritten and prohibitively expensive and the majority of the population was illiterate? I don’t mean to be argumentative, I’m genuinely curious what you think that would look like. I appreciate your insight.

@swamthetiber25 I don't intend this to be patronizing, but it makes sense that Catholics don't prioritize reading the Bible if the church says they have to believe whatever they tell them anyway. Why read it? they don't put it in the pews. and then people miss the entire overarching theme. Faith

That implies salvation is based on me and what I do…isn’t that a work? Baptism is gift form the Lord.
GiGi@ChristySimm23

@swamthetiber25 ONE HAS TO BELIEVE & REPENT ***FIRST*** It has to be from the heart, not the city water that runs in the church's plumbing.

This man is in Phoenix, Arizona visiting his daughter. It is 108* there!🥵 He noticed this unit on top of her house and wondered why it isn’t on the ground like most houses. He asked her and she said that was the way it was when they bought the house. Why would this be on top of the roof? I’ve lived in 5 different states and never seen them on the roof. And notice how big it is, it’s huge! Why would they be on the roof? What’s the reasoning? And 108*? Are people really digging a 108* weather? Could you handle that?

Martin Luther: “remained a virgin before, during, and after the birth of Christ.” “remained pure and untainted” John Calvin: “We believe, as the Church has always taught, that Mary remained a virgin before, during, and after the birth of Christ.” John Wesley: "...the blessed Virgin Mary, who, as well after as before she brought Him forth, continued a pure and unspotted virgin.” The Church of England affirmed this belief in the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion (1563), which states that Mary, as the mother of Christ, “remained a virgin”

@Buzzsaws1990 @TrueHalfCrack @FDerpenstein @emuse1955 @PopePiusIXStan No Protestant I know believes in the perpetual virginity of Mary. It’s simply twisting clear words into something it’s not. Have a lovely night.

@MarkGCuellar @DontBotherIt65 @swamthetiber25 Incorrect. The apostles lived and wrote for decades after Jesus rose from the dead. Stephen was martyred early on (Acts 7). James was killed in Acts 12. Many others died including Mary during the time the apostles were still actively teaching and writing the New Testament.

LOL, yea...Mary noticed they ran out of wine and told Jesus, “They have no wine.” Simple ordinary statement. She was speaking to her living Son on earth, face-to-face. That’s not the same as Christians on earth directing prayers to Mary in heaven 2,000 years later, asking her to intercede with Jesus, never mind that it goes directly against Scripture.
