A Texas mother has been charged with murder after police say she intentionally left her 15-month-old child to die in a hot car while she went to work. Vanessa Esquivel, 27, allegedly left her baby in a vehicle for over two hours in Frisco on August 16. The outside temperature was at least 95 degrees, & police say she knew the car's air conditioning was broken. After the child was pronounced dead at a hospital, investigators determined that Esquivel's actions were intentional & caused the baby's death. Esquivel was arrested on August 20 & has been charged with murder.
