92 Labour MPs oppose Keir Starmer continuing as PM. That is more than half the Labour majority. De facto Starmer has lost the confidence of the House. The King has to give a speech outlining Starmer’s plans today. Instead Starmer should be going to Buckingham Palace and resigning. And if they can’t all get behind another Labour MP, they should be a general election. This mess needs sorting out. Labour can’t or won’t sort it so British voters must be allowed to do it for them.

Starmer’s speech today was a speech of total denial.
He not spoke to his party - not to the British public, not to voters.
He may have “taken responsibility” and admitted he has “doubters” but he just doesn’t get it.
This is not about rebuilding the Labour Party - it’s about rebuilding our country.
It’s about British values and belief in our culture.
It is about enabling British people to thrive and prosper in a free and democratic nation.
It is about fairness - not to every immigrant who washes ip on our shores but to the British people who graft all their lives yet still struggle to pay the bills.
It’s about the economy, not benefits for men with 3 wives but for every family business that is crippled by costs this government has foisted on them.
It is about the freedom to say it how we see it and not be worried a copper will come knocking when we know we’d never see one when we need them.
It is building a military that can defend us. An economy that will support us. Public services that work.
Instead Starmer just wants to protect Starmer.
And every single one of his cabinet is too weak to tell him enough is enough.
Put the British people first.

Simons, when he ran Labour Together, a Starmerite think tank founded by Morgan McSweeney, paid £36,000 to have journalists secretly investigated and falsely branded Russian assets. Those smears were sent to GCHQ. Starmer's "ethics advisor", tasked with investigating this scandal, never read the evidence submitted to him by one of Simons's journalist victims. The ex-Cabinet Office Minister was exonerated.
The Center for Countering Digital Hate — also founded by McSweeney and run by Ahmed from a shared Labour Together office — spent years trying to get media outlets that criticised Starmer's "extreme centrism" defunded or banned on the grounds they were spreading "hate", and lobbying governments on both sides of the Atlantic for sweeping censorship powers.
