You left out the motive: that synagogue wasn’t just hosting Shabbat services. It was the venue for “The Great Israeli Real Estate Event” — an auction/expo actively selling deeds to illegal West Bank settlements on occupied Palestinian land. That’s exactly why the protest happened. The mob didn’t randomly attack a synagogue; they showed up to protest the sale of stolen land inside one. Leviticus 19:16-18 demands we don’t stand idly by while blood is shed or while deception frames every backlash against Israel’s actions as baseless Jew-hatred. Conflating criticism of settlement land sales with antisemitism is the very thing that keeps erasing the post-WWII gains in Jewish safety you claim to care about. Speak the full truth or don’t speak at all. #NeverAgain is for everybody, not just Zionist Jews falsely claiming dominion over Palestine.
