I am an independent… and that is exactly why blind loyalty to ANY political party should make Americans uncomfortable. Thomas Massie frustrates people because he does not always move with the herd. But that is literally what a constitutional republic is supposed to produce… elected officials who vote based on principle, fiscal restraint, and the Constitution instead of acting like synchronized corporate spokesmen. Annie Ramos has been in this country since she was an infant. She's an ASU student, a Dream scholar, and a military spouse. She was put in ICE detention only days after her wedding. There are thousands of people just like Annie being detained right now. This is their home.
