Value and respect your opinion, Mr. Smerconish, but fail to see the logic. Pakistan, North Korea and Israel have uranium and/or plutonium stockpiles and nuclear weapons. Are you prepared to secure their stockpiles, and where do you stop and draw the line? Seems like you are advocating for a “fight of choice” with Iran. Your approach would further strain our alliances over the Strait of Hormuz, and distract from where our credibility actually matters - supporting Ukraine against real aggression.

You really didn’t discuss what that means in terms of escalation and boots on the ground. The reason why this problem happened is because Trump tore up the agreement we had with Iran. I don’t believe anything will work except diplomacy.
