@RepBethVanDuyne More of the same from you, Congresswoman from gerrymandered TX-24. Disappointing. Calling this “massive relief” misses the mark and is disingenuous. Refunds are just overpaid taxes being returned to taxpayers, and this year many working families are seeing less of it, not more.
English

🚨 Massive tax refund season is underway! 🚨
Thank you to @guypbenson for highlighting all of the work that went into delivering the Working Families Tax Cuts to hardworking Americans, who are now seeing real relief and keeping more of what they earn!

Value and respect your opinion, Mr. Smerconish, but fail to see the logic. Pakistan, North Korea and Israel have uranium and/or plutonium stockpiles and nuclear weapons.
Are you prepared to secure their stockpiles, and where do you stop and draw the line? Seems like you are advocating for a “fight of choice” with Iran. Your approach would further strain our alliances over the Strait of Hormuz, and distract from where our credibility actually matters - supporting Ukraine against real aggression.
English

We’re in Iran. The question now isn’t how we got here—it’s what we do next. If nearly bomb-grade uranium is unaccounted for, can we really walk away? We Can't Leave Without the Nuclear Material. Watch now: youtu.be/zh4Qgpkiv1M

1500 days of full, brutal war.
1500 days of pain, sorrow and devastation.
But also — 1500 days of ironclad resistance, inspiring courage, resilient defiance, and stubborn solidarity.
For 1500 days, Ukrainians stand as one, supported by our friends.

@RepBethVanDuyne Nope. Not reality. No evidence non-citizens are voting at any scale, and U.S. elections already require citizenship. Real election integrity means making voting secure accessible - not pushing misleading claims to justify new barriers.
English

The most important person to a D.C. Democrat right now is an illegal immigrant…
Over 80% of Americans want to see Voter ID and ensure only American citizens are voting in federal elections so we have far stronger election integrity.
The solution is simple: pass the SAVE America Act and secure our elections.
English

@RepBethVanDuyne ICYW Accuracy - this isn’t ‘no tax.’ It’s partial relief with limits and fine print - and workers still pay payroll taxes. Let’s not oversell it.

ICYMI: No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime are ensuring that Americans are keeping more of their hard-earned money!!

🚨 Republicans delivered NO TAX ON TIPS and NO TAX ON OVERTIME for working families while every Democrat in Congress voted AGAINST it. Don't forget it.

Really? That’s your concern. This isn’t about giving Trump a “win” - it’s about you, Congresswoman, and the Republican-controlled Congress doing its Constitutional job on war powers. You either authorize it with clear limits or oppose it outright - but please stop treating this Trump war of choice like a partisan game. It’s not.

Overnight, Russia launched 339 drones against Ukraine. Strikes hit civilian sites: food warehouses, a Nova Post terminal, and residential buildings.
While Ukraine pushes for an Easter ceasefire, Russia answers with more drones and strikes. Stronger air defense and tougher sanctions will save lives and bring peace closer.

English

What’s unstated - Congress has a choice to make here. Authorize Trump’s war of choice, and, as noted in the article, do so with limits, objectives, and a way out. And if it’s not authorized, bring our troops home.

Oh, please. Here you go again!
Be honest about what this is. The Democrats offered to fund DHS, and the Republicans rejected it because it didn’t include ICE and CBP. That’s not Democrats blocking security. That’s Republicans choosing a political fight over a functioning government.
Americans and your constituents voted for real priorities - end the war of choice with Iran that Trump and the Republican Party started, bring down gas prices, tackle inflation, lower healthcare costs, and stop the insider deals and vanity projects like that absurd ballroom.
English

@RepBethVanDuyne No evidence of non-citizen voting - it’s very, very rare. The real issue is ensuring eligible Americans can vote without barriers. Your constituents know the SAVE Act creates onerous barriers.
Please do better if you can, Congresswoman from gerrymandered TX-24.

Last night, the Russians launched a massive strike on Odesa. There was no military purpose whatsoever – this was pure terror against ordinary civilian life. Over 60 drones were used in the strike on the city. Sadly, there is extensive damage. Among the sites hit were a maternity hospital, ordinary residential buildings, businesses, as well as the port and critical infrastructure. Our services continue to work on the ground wherever needed, providing assistance. Tragically, as of now, one person has been reported killed. My condolences to their family and loved ones. More than ten people have been wounded, including a child. There were also strikes overnight in the Poltava and Dnipro regions.
Each such strike proves that Russia has no intention of ending this war. That is why any easing of pressure on it is dangerous. And coordinated efforts to protect people and lives will help us, help our country’s defense and our diplomacy. I thank all our partners who are working with us and supporting our people. We are working with everyone to give our country more strength and more capacity to protect life in Ukraine every day and every night: our cities and villages, our infrastructure. Collective defense and coordinated action can deliver the most effective results.

President Trump has revealed a deep malady within the U.S., Lydia Polgreen writes: “America’s unshakable faith in its ability to shape the world to its liking, indifferent to what others might want and supremely confident that its plan is the right one.”

Donald Trump got the Director of the US Patent and Trade Office to apply for trademarks for the Board of Peace—something it does for no other entity and which is not allowed under federal law. Then he waived the fee for registration. Now he’ll decide whether to grant the application he submitted! No one knows what this Board of Peace is or where the billions of dollars gathered from corrupt foreign states will go. We're exposing this devious scheme.

Ending the war now by calling it a “victory” is a much safer option than having it drag-on and escalate.

Sen. Bernie Sanders: "I think all over the country, people are saying, 'Wait a minute, we can't afford housing. We can't afford health care. We can't afford childcare. We can't afford food at the grocery store.' And this war now, which will cost hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, why? Why the bomb buildings in Tehran? Why force a million people in Lebanon from their homes? So it's not just progressives and Democrats...I think the polling suggests that whether you're Republicans or Democrats, this is not a war that the American people want."
