Wilson Odobert was forced off with a knee injury in the first half of Spurs vs Newcastle. After contact, his knee dropped into a valgus position. That kind of pivoting mechanism, along with a visible “calf ripple”, is usually quite consistent with an ACL tear. There is a small chance that he's only suffered a meniscus, isolated MCL injury or just a bone bruise. However, this is usually unlikely. Expected Recovery Times: If ACL: 9+ months If Meniscus: 3-4 months If Bone Bruise: Less than a week Spurs’ medical team were also seen running through a series of special tests typically used to assess for ACL involvement.
