(shrugs) There's bigger fish to fry (broadening cosmetics to support development instead of P2W type cashshops, updating NPC's to fly new ships, broken map filters, updating crime/punish, etc

@DiscussingFilm Jabba was kinda known for being a fat lazy hutt. (Fat obese, etc was something of a status symbol) There were a few (in the books at least) that were serious powerhouses and would even wear body armor and take on Jedis. Grakkus, Bokk, etc

@SandyofCthulhu Rebalancing is perfectly acceptable, IMO... it's not unusual for a gamedev to only discover game-breaking things once it hits the masses. But irrespective of rebalancing, there should be Difficulty AND Accesibility options for EVERY game, as long as it's fair to all players

Who agrees with Sophia Narwitz? I can see her point, but feel that one answer is to introduce difficulty levels. Literally every digital game I made had difficulty levels. Are these obsolete or something?

@GrantSlatton I rewound and re-watched Empire Strikes Back so many times I physically wore out the VHS tape on certain scenes (Cutting open the TaunTaun, Asteroid Chase, etc) But, as a kid of the *70s/80s* I was more often than not kicked out of the house and not allowed to watch TV all day.

i know so many parents whose kids watch Frozen or some other movie literally every day, for months at a time feels like this was not a thing among kids in the 90s obviously pressing 'play' is so easy, but rewinding a VCR isn't hard either what explains?

Got a new rescue in today. This little man came in from a pet store where he suffered a really bad fracture. This was unfortunately unfixable as the break was lengthwise and only offered 4mm of workable bone for pinning. They opted to amputate so now he has three legs. He should fully recover and lead a mostly normal life with slight mobility reduction. Ferrets do really well in situations like this so there is very little to worry about. His name is Nemo and he should be meeting the others in two weeks when his quarantine period is finished. Thank you for supporting us: ferrets.live
