Thank you so much to @LinksMagazines for featuring me in this month’s issue of Plym Links – reflecting on all things Beauty and the Beast at @DissCornHall. Hard to believe that it’s been a month today since the curtain came down on our record breaking season. And yet, I’m still receiving messages and emails with incredible feedback and support – which honestly means the world. Sharing a few of your Facebook reviews to remind me just how special this show was and how lucky I was to be part of it. Thank you again to the thousands of you who came to watch and support us – and for proving that our Panto wasn’t just a fleeting “Beast”, but a true “tale as old as time”… or at least a month old 🌹 Photography by @RichardJarmy

And again, just like that, the curtain has come down on my second season at @DissCornHall and Silly Billy’s run of chaos and mayhem is over for another year 🌹 To say that I am feeling the Panto blues is a huge understatement, but thank you to the thousands of you – young and old, first-timers and faithful Diss Panto regulars – who walked through the doors, laughed with us, cheered, booed and made Beauty and the Beast so special. Your reactions, reviews, smiles and standing ovations are what make all of this worthwhile. A personal thank you to @RyanHoltUK for inviting me back and trusting in me to play your comic again this year – and to Dave Short for continuing to mentor me throughout this whole process. I am in awe of you both and I will forever be grateful for your guidance and most importantly your friendship. To my insanely talented cast, production team, our astonishing stage manager Karen, our wonderful @CarlaBalls_ and chaperones to our Junior Ensemble – and of course to all the The Corn Hall team… you poured your hearts into this show and it showed in every moment both on stage and off. And finally, to all my family and my closest who travelled varying distances to watch – and to all of you who have sent me messages of support, I am truly blessed to have you all in my life x 2026….. this is the year!

An incredible evening celebrating all things Panto at the 2025 @UKPantomime Awards ceremony at @WokingTheatre last night. Privileged to be reunited with so many friends and to meet some truly inspirational human beings. As the wonderful Elaine C Smith perfectly stated, “the world we live in today is full of darkness, but Pantomime is the light”… and to be a part of this community is an honour! Congratulations to all the nominees and winners – and to the insanely talented La Voix and @DaveBensonPhill for hosting too! And just like that my debut Panto season with SparkLive is over and Simple/Silly Simon has taken his final bow 🌱 Full of mixed emotions, but having taken this childhood dream of mine to a reality, it has “bean” everything that I imagined it would be and more… it did not DISSappoint! Overwhelmed with all the feedback, comments, standing ovations and sell-out performances… but to say that I have had the time of my life is a huge understatement. I want to personally thank @RyanHoltUK for granting me my first opportunity. Your mutual passion for this beloved art form astounds me and I’m so grateful to have shared this fascination and began my journey with you! To my incredibly talented fellow cast and creative team… thank you for all the support, the laughs and for the all the memories, which I will undeniably treasure – and to all the volunteers at @DissCornHall and our Young Cast chaperones for their generosity. Special mention to @daveshort100 for guiding me throughout the whole process with your first-hand knowledge, but most importantly your friendship for which I will forever vaule. And finally, to all my family and my closest who travelled varying distances to come and watch – and to all the support I have received throughout this journey.
