I appreciate the acknowledgement for the issues with raids. However, the compensation just being more raids to spend more money on isn’t the compensation people deserve. Not to mention, compensation should be for EVERYONE, not just for some countries/certain regions. Everyone worldwide was affected by raid issues the whole weekend in some way.
People deserve raid passes back, other premium items like lucky eggs, star pieces, incense, link charges etc. More importantly like some past compensations, give people special research with encounters with legendary Pokémon with guaranteed backgrounds from across the weekend, with a shiny rate of 1/10 perhaps. Or if you have an extended raid event, make the raids free to join and available everywhere. People didn’t just lose time raiding, they lost money because of the raid passes/link charges they lost, and other premium items on in the background like lucky eggs, star pieces etc.
No one’s perfect, mistakes happen, things can go wrong and anyone thinking reasonably can understand that. While I understand with such a huge global event, issues can happen that are not anticipated and outside of your control, what you CAN control is the appropriate compensation for people, and not just to select groups but to everyone, especially with it being the 10 year anniversary too.
