@PolarGlobal Well can I opt out of it being transferred out of EU/EEA? kind of seems like a dark pattern in design if I have to allow it.

@PolarGlobal any particular reason I can't refuse to have my data sent outside the EU? I don't want it sent somewhere that GDPR doesn't apply? Does this mean the watch I have bought is now unusable?

@AskeBay Well the problem is that the support team keep giving me the same stone wall answer of me bei my permanently suspended and won’t help me resolve the account. I have only bought two things and I also don’t sell on eBay. I just can’t understand how this is ok to randomly ban me

So my .@eBay account got permanently suspended because I logged in... I got no warnings. I got no info as to why. Apparently there is a breach of some sort but I'm not allowed to know what it was. eBay what the heck, how am I supposed to buy my 2nd hand Warhammer models now?

I don't even know if these orders are shipped... From the email it sends me to login

Unfortunately this is an increasingly common occurrence - I've seen hundreds of reports just like yours. eBay is using AI that's falsely flagging basic user activity as "suspicious" & banning accounts with no warning, no explanation & no ability to appeal. It happened to me too, but because I wrote an article about it & tagged some eBay execs here, magically they were able to lift the ban due to my "social presence." 😉

@HelloFillip @AskeBay @eBay I also tried to use @AskeBay since its says in bio "support hours are from 6AM to 6PM PT" but of course no one can help. Little irritated since I'm accused of wrong doing but with not way to remove it or understand. (Ana you have been wonderful thank you ♥️)

@MarkRyanIO @eBay Looks like @ebay s security is tighter than a jar of pickles. I can carve you some Warhammer models from wood, but fair warning, they may end up looking more like the lovechild of Pinocchio and a potato than actual Warhammer figures.
