Given that there mixed results for both legitimate and spurious searches, I don't think we can completely write off the OP's observation as a "bug".

Okay, this is super weird. The name of the terror group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya was not known to the world before 9 March 2026 so why was there a Google search spike on that exact name in Israel one month earlier?

And It won't be a person, it'll be software performing multiple searches from multiple countries and producing actionable reports on what people in those localities are likely to see for certain terms.

It is not impossible that a search containing Abracadabraliciousnessosity could have been done, by someone, somewhere on the planet in 3 months. It would only take one search.

A government that thought its country was about to suffer fuel, energy, food shortages, would be ramping up production of its own energy supplies, encouraging farmers to produce food, making its own fertiliser which is in short supply. They aren't. That's all you need to know.

@jim_the_truth @cem_uk_ It's not a 100 views. It's a statistically significant increase in searches for a term on a given date. Think of it as a popularity score presented as a percentage. If day 1 has 0 searches, day 2 has 1 search and day 3 has 0 searches. Day 2 is 100% more popular than day 1 and 3.

@cem_uk_ There's a Google Trends bug that causes these strange spikes of 100 views to appear occasionally based on your actual search query. See screenshot with gibberish word. Search for the same thing a couple times and poke around in the settings, and you'll eventually see one.

As an international lawyer, I know how the blacksmiths felt at the advent of the Industrial Revolution. My trade is becoming increasingly irrelevant.
