If you think that the @BBCNews should have a rule that Think Tanks can only appear on the BBC after disclosure of their main funders, then please retweet. (If there is enough interest I will set up a petition to the BBC)

Boris Johnson is planning to break the law to force through Brexit. He is therefore plotting a coup and conspiring to commit a serious crime. If Britain were a proper democracy he and his co-conspirators would now be arrested, tried and jailed.

@aallan True anonymisation should be possible if the data owner adds random noise to the data before storing. For a data controller to claim that they are storing anonymised data simply by taking out the direct identifiers in data is however (possibly deliberately) misleading.

Anonymising large datasets that contain personal information is almost impossible. On average, given minimal demographic information, most people on average have a 79% chance of being correctly re-identified from an anonymised dataset. #privacy #bigdata cpg.doc.ic.ac.uk/individual-ris…

I am honestly surprised having watched this that @Nigel_Farage has not been detained for incitement, when that is what’s happening to people with Bollocks to Brexit badges at our airports

I had this reaction last month returning home from Germany. For the last time, a citizen of Europe🇪🇺, rather than some provincial island nation still lost in its glory days. I am angry what my government has done to me, my family, and my country. I will not forget, or forgive.

Better #security is not better if the amount of friction it adds to using a computer to do a user's day-to-day task is sufficient that an average user will stop using any security at all to avoid the extra friction. #infosec

“The amount I receive is not for public disclosure.” Dispatches reveals that Brexiteer and Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg may have earned at least £7 million since the 2016 EU referendum, from an investment firm he partly owns - which has seen its profits increase since the vote.

Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt warned against a #PeoplesVote on #Marr today. So it’s worth reminding people he was in favour of a #PeoplesVote before the current race to succeed Theresa May started. Pls RT to remind him twitter.com/peoplesvote_uk…

Being the bigger robot: A thought-provoking article from Felix Burn-Forti discusses how we shouldn’t ignore human perception but why we should trust algorithms to uncover where we have made mistakes. #machinelearning #artificalintelligence bit.ly/2RZD8j7
