@EnglandRugby @O2 Van Rensburg ahead of Max Ojomoh is plain ridiculous! Ojomoh has all the creativity England lack. MoM v Argentina to left out. Baffling

@RugbyInsideLine I think Orlando Bailey could be what Steve Borthwick is looking for in terms of his utility. Can cover 10, 12 and 15 and is a playmaker like for like for Furbank at 15 who’s playnaking ability is clearly important for Borthwick’s England system

@radio_sheri JVG seemed to be pragmatic in the winter months and played the power game. Hoped the plan would be to play more by now but style going to be dictated by who's fit. Fab to have Max back!

2/2 being key. But with no Horse that negates its effectiveness. Teams have wised up to the Bath bench too and it’s hard to see Bath outmuscling Tigers in particular. A more expansive game plan with a creative midfield will be key in my view…. Intrigued to canvass wider views

@JohnEvely_BPost Maybe citing a player or two would put some focus on the issue? Bath fans will be accused of sour grapes but this issue is a cliche for a reason. Bordeaux defence, execution and line out were superior today but would have been interesting if they'd lost Lucu/Coleman

Another question for the Bath faithful given the opposition and significance of the @ChampionsCup Semi would you start with your absolute best 8 forwards and of course still have a strong bench or not … so I would start Thomas du Toit and keep him on for as long as is possible

Bath have lost TWICE away to Leicester this year. 🐯 46 - 21 🛁 🐯 22- 20 🛁 Bath are good, but they've not been faultless this season. Rotating today could end up being very costly if they slip up at all in the run in.
RugbyInsideLine@RugbyInsideLine

Bath v Saints is huge, despite Bath rotating. If Bath can pull out a result, then it really does make a statement ahead of a possible PREM final clash. If Bath slip into 3rd over the coming weeks, they could face a daunting trip to Welford Road in the semis.

@tomdabs Feeling positive about our chances if avoid conceding first (for once!), avoid yellows and sort the lineout. Bordeaux will make mistakes under pressure like anyone else! COYB

@Sam_jess2003 @BathBytes Spot on Sam. I've never understood why Spencer as the best box kicker in the league isn't Borthwick's first pick with the tactics he employs. It makes no sense. Also - pick Ojomoh!

@BathBytes Spencer helped England a lot on Saturday, the difference in his box kicking to Mitchell’s was vast. England started to win the ball back from the kicks a lot more when Spencer came on …

Bath are lacking that edge and hunger they had last season. They gave a big responce in the opening 20 minuets but have done very little since and have been flat for large parts.

FT: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England 25-7 Australia 🇦🇺 And that scoreline flatters Australia. Battered. Defensively excellent from England, but blew quite a few chances to score. Roebuck, Underhill, Earl, Freeman the standouts. Great start to the Autumn.
