Well this was an awkward meeting. We fast forwarded through some of the awkward silences for you. And the panic "adjournment"... At a recent Otago Regional Council meeting, Councillor Robbie Byars put forward a simple amendment to remove unelected iwi representatives from the new governance structure for the ICM Board and keep decision-making with those voters can actually hold accountable. It was voted down 8–3. That’s how co-governance keeps creeping in. Not through public mandate, but through decisions like this in council chambers. Credit to Robbie for forcing the issue and making councillors show their hand. Democracy only works when the public can see who is standing up for it… and who isn’t.

I’ll tell you guys a life hack if you’re single. Carry a $1,000 in cash in your wallet. Everyone typically has $1,000 in their bank, it’s not impressive, but in cash? WHOA! brain goes wow! Pull it out in front of a cashier, pull off a money clip (this is one of mine) and ask if they take cash. If not, they saw the cash. Because I travel a lot. I always carry $1,000, £500 and €500 in cash wherever I go at the very least, it solves a lot of problems

I wouldn’t have even gone to hospital if this happened to me. I would’ve pulled myself up by my bootstraps and simply shaken it off. I would’ve fixed my bike at the crash site and left to go and uh.. work. Bills and stuff. But even bigger bills than your ones. Sissy libshit. Our generations are not the same. @NzFubar

Peter the Great, I am tired. This Third-World LARPing from the Russian regime is ridiculous and unbecoming. They were/are also a colonial power. Nothing to be ashamed of. On the contrary, the Russian conquest of the east was a great feat – especially after suffering under the Mongol yoke for so many years. That said, Russia needs to leave Ukraine. I am not for Ukraine and against Russia in that conflict due to any consideration regarding colonialism. I am for Ukraine because it is a somewhat homogenous European country whereas Russia is a multi-ethnic empire that prosecutes pro-Slavic Russians.
Russian Embassy in NL🇷🇺🇳🇱@rusembassynl

Slavery is bad? Not for everyone. Look at the results of the UN GA voting on the relevant Resolution. See which countries don't support it and ask yourself why? Colonial way of thinking is still in their minds. #400years #Slavery #freedom

Are you just posting a pre-written script? Somebody in Judeo-American controlled Sweden shouldn't be clutching their pearls about 85% Slavic Russia. You never consider that Eastern Ukrainians are ethnic russians and don't want to be persecuted by literal pale of settlement Jews from Israel who rule Ukraine as an iron fist kleptocracy.

Russians With Attitude@RWApodcast·
The era of "Putin's stability" is officially over. Previously apolitical Russians are being bombarded with internet restrictions, and in some cases, actual strikes from across the border. Turns out there's only so much a person can tune out. The Ukrainian scammer empire, coercing Russian civilians into terrorist attacks and extracting billions of rubles from them, is alive and well. One of them did get chopped up in Bali, but still. The EU is gearing up for war, while the Kremlin is still desperate to trade with their "partners". It all sounds quite bleak, but I've grown darkly optimistic — and not by ignoring any of the above. Extreme conditions are breathing life into an otherwise inert society. Government branches are competing again, even parliament is coming alive, regions are diverging. Russian political life, long declared dead, is creaking back into motion, and, most importantly, the Russians are very fucking mad, for real this time. What can it lead to? We cover that, plus SMO and Iran SITREPs, and whom the Iran war can actually benefit in our latest NEWS installment: patreon.com/posts/rwa-news…

The Retard Right is going to ignore this, but this by itself justifies the entire Iran war. Iran's military had developed missiles (IRBM) that were capable of traveling 3,700–4,500 km, depending on launch point inside Iran. Anyone questioning "imminent threat" has their answer.
OSINTtechnical@Osinttechnical

Iran fired a pair of intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK base in the Indian Ocean. One missile failed in flight, and another was engaged by a US Navy destroyer using an SM-3 missile.

🇮🇷🇯🇵 Iran says it may allow Japanese-linked ships through the Strait of Hormuz, with talks already underway with Tokyo. No clear reason why Japan specifically, but the timing stands out after Japan’s PM met Trump just a day earlier. Selective access to a global oil route is… not exactly standard policy. @chrisluxonmp You goofy gumboot. Condemning one party when two parties are guilty isn’t just hypocritical, it’s also blatant cowardice. It’s not hard to say “we condemn Iran AND Israel for attacks on energy infrastructure”. It’s not controversial or antisemitism.

Attacks on fuel tankers and energy infrastructure in the Middle East are leading directly to higher fuel prices for Kiwis. That’s why we have joined the United Kingdom and other countries in condemning Iran’s attacks in the Gulf. Iran has forced the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz to ships carrying fuel and other critical goods to places like New Zealand. New Zealand has a longstanding record of working with like-minded partners to ensure open supply lines for global trade. Obviously, any future decision for New Zealand to support multilateral efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz would need to be considered by Cabinet.
