@okmaher @taylorvizionn Maher, you just don't get it. The folks at RMGO are fighters! Here in Colorado, they've nut-punched more viable GOP candidates, and secured more Democratic victories, than I could have ever hoped to.

@taylorvizionn It cute because I am a very outspoken #2A advocate. There are TONS of articles about RMGOs swath of electoral damage. I've spent 20 years of my life advocating for #2A issues, and watched them fundraise off making the environment worse for gun owners like me.

I, too, enjoy spending an extra 20 minutes ensuring each finger of a three year old is in the correct slot of his gloves because no two fingers can be together, only to be told that now his “hands are too hot” and watch him pull them back off.

Youngkin’s win reminds me of Cory Gardner’s Senate victory in 2014. Blue-trending state, GOP-tilted cycle, one-note/hapless opponent, near-flawless campaign…and a tight margin. Sometimes it takes a lot of stars aligning to produce certain outcomes in tough political terrain.
