Didn't drive her car at an ICE agent. Didn't try to obstruct an ICE operation. Was just walking down the street when an illegal alien killed her in cold blood. And Democrats do not care.

🧵 THREAD: Democrats TEACH voter identification and election integrity ... just not in America The Democratic Party has an international arm called the National Democratic Institute (NDI). It's funded by $181M/year in US tax dollars. Its board includes Stacey Abrams, Donna Brazile, and Tom Daschle. But in regards to today's SAVE America Act debate... did you know that the NDI has taught and supervised election processes all over the world? For 40 years, NDI has told every developing country on earth that voter ID is essential for election integrity. They've recommended biometric systems... yes, that's right, NDI recommended biometric systems, which goes way beyond SAVE America Act! They praised fingerprint verification. Tracked ID card issuance rates. Meanwhile, Democrats call the SAVE Act "Jim Crow 2.0." Same party. Same people. Opposite positions. As always, patience as I pull together the thread 👇

Stephen Miller: “At the beginning of this administration, we asked every state, red and blue, to share with us their voter rolls so we could scrub it against the DHS file of illegal aliens to remove illegal aliens from their voter rolls. Every blue state refused. California refused. Minnesota refused. New York refused. In fact, they sued us to stop us from removing illegal aliens from the voter rolls, removing non-citizens from the voter rolls. But that’s not the only thing. They don’t even want to get dead people off the rolls. They don’t want to get felons off the rolls. They don’t want to get out-of-state voters off the rolls. They don’t want to get double and triple voters out of the count. Because they want the fraud. This is the most important issue, Sean, because the Biden administration brought 20 million illegal aliens into this country and this is the way, the only way, to keep them from participating in our sacred democratic process.”

What I heard at ICE detention centers brought me to tears. My constituent Yari has dark spots on her stomach because of the dirty clothes she has to wear. Detainees have to fight for melted ice because it's their only source of filtered water. An Armenian man I spoke to has been waiting over a year to get dental care and could be the next Emmanuel Damas. Many are forced to work for just $2/hour. This is modern day slavery at the hands of the Trump regime. It's sickening.

Cuba isn't poor because of US sanctions as Cuba trades with 190+ countries and even gets hundreds of millions of US agricultural products for cash due to a year 2000 amendment. Cuba is poor because of state central planning and the rejection of free market capitalism.

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies. But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.

Trump has repeatedly abandoned our NATO allies. He also launched an illegal, reckless war that’s already cost American lives, killed thousands of civilians, and left Americans stranded abroad. And there’s still no plan and no justification made to the American people. Insane.

People are divided on this. A restaurant automatically added a 25% tip to every dinner bill. The owner says it guarantees fair pay for servers. Some customers say tipping should always be optional. Should restaurants be allowed to add automatic tips?

@CreatorJaxx36 @RepVindman @SecWar @grok Jaxx, read your links, thank you, but they are unpersuasive. It was unwise rhetoric, neither an order nor conduct. It needs to be one of the latter two to be illegal.

Let's be clear — an order to give "no quarter" means to take no prisoners and execute soldiers who try to surrender.   It is a violation of the law of war and the Geneva Conventions.    As a former Army JAG who trained soldiers on the law of war, it is clear that @SecWar must go.

@RepVindman @SecWar Hegseth said 'no quarter' in a press briefing. It was hyperbolic rhetoric, not an order to commanders or a directive to troops. There was no implementing order issued, no ROE changed, no illegal instructions to commanders, no changes to combat operations. Context matters.
