@Zizaran Why are you making excuses for the lack of farms in the endgame ? So we should self impose our own difficulty and not interact with the online trading part of the game, just so we can have some “fun” ?

For those that are despairing over lack of endgame farms / stuff to do in trade league, consider trying SSF, the crafting is super fun and it's a really good ssf league! If you we're looking for an excuse to try it nows the time :D Figured I'd mention this because I saw a few ppl being unhappy with the league but I'm having fun in ssf!

@Fubgun Yet again their focus is on bringing in new players or making sure “casuals” can clear the content. When are they going to stop catering to people who haven’t even begun or hardly play their game, and start putting endgame farms in for people who actually play their game….

I'll be honest, this is the worst endgame has felt in a very long time for me. I've tried multiple max juiced strats today and they're just all terrible. 200% more currency/200% more quant and you leave the map with 10 chaos. Only hope right now is a buff in the next week, removing mirage and not addressing the poor state of loot was a massive mistake. In comparison poe2 loot feels phenomenal and made the game really enjoyable in 0.5, poe1 is so far off the mark right now.

I’ve read the bip. I’m sure you are aware of the motte-and-bailey fallacy, but for those who are not I’ll explain it here. It’s a debating style where you assert an aggressive position, and then fall back to a somewhat more defensible position when the aggressive one isn’t working, and purposely conflate the two or switch back and forth when convenient. Many leaders of this movement, and by association their followers, have been saying that Bitcoin is under major attack by spam, that it is vulnerable to illegal images, that bitcoin will fail without this fork, that nodes will become unwieldy, or that this fork is absolutely going to happen. That in aggregate is the aggressive position, the bailey. And keep in mind this is path dependent; it emerged from the filter movement that spent years trying to stop spam. I know people who have received death threats for not supporting this fork. You should see my inbox or notifications of people talking about how this is the most existential thing in bitcoin, or that it’ll stop spam or csam and preserve bitcoin as money. That’s what many people assert. And when I say, “well no, it doesn’t do that, I don’t consider this an emergency, and even if it was an emergency I wouldn’t view this as anywhere near being a solution for the emergency, but I’m open to discussions on spam management for the longer run.” Then people respond by saying “look at the bip, it’s so mild, it admits how limited it is for spam, it’s not really about spam, etc” That’s the semi-defensible position to fall back to, the motte. But then great, it’s not an emergency. In fact, the reason I have not written about the bip on my main timeline or in an article (either for or against), is because I read it and it hasn’t reached my top ten things to focus on. By default I don’t support forks under a year old unless I consider them true emergencies, so that they have time for proper review. But for those who want to try for a contested fork, I support their right to do so. 👍

Feels like you haven't been listening or understanding the debate, or maybe you're captured too. This isn't difficult: BIP-110 stops official arbitrary data storage. Anything else is a lie. Bitcoin, only has ONE place for official arbitrary data storage in transactions, called OP_RETURN. Restrict that, and you restrict the official ability to store porn on bitcoin. Ramming it in somewhere else with steganographic attacks or via code exploits, are NOT supported uses of bitcoin and are therefore subject to fixes later. We stop OFFICIAL exploits now, and then work on the rest, iteratively. Which part of this is not clear? I welcome the discussion. Seriously. I'm a BIP-110 supporter. I'm reaching outside of my echo chamber. Prove me wrong.

@NeverSinkDev Am sure it will come back at some point. But it’s not back for this league and they aren’t going to start adding new scarabs or allflames at the last minute for this league either. All those mechanics you mentioned, plus expedition / boss rushing etc are cooked….

A gripe I have with the upcoming PoE1 league. Several mechanics are likely very unprofitable. I believe the league could really benefit from adding a couple new allflames/scarabs to spice up the endgame. Leagues: - Ritual is on life support. Synth items were one of the best things it provided and without mirage it's going be rough - Breach got super-nerfed - Delirium is in dire need of a rework - Blight and harvest not looking too great either. - Likely others - Probably heist

Every Bitcoiner supports BIP-110. Most of us predict that it will be activated (irrespectively of encouragement by either Foundry or AntPool mining pools). Others predict that the BIP-110 will not be activated if not authorized by either Foundry or AntPool. Accurate assessment?

This was a crazy response. I'm presuming you literally just started playing POE? Nothing at all wrong with that btw This is a completely different game now than it was in 2014 lol -- the power creep is so absurd now, you can just overpower every content in the game, as long as you efficiently grind for a week, even as a casual. You can just alch and go red alters day 2-5 and get enough currency to put together a build that can do all content. You don't have to have double implicit magebloods and mirror tier gear to do anything lol -- that's the REAL aspirational content, is just breaking the game even more. Nobody NEEDS 100million or a billion dps to do anything, it's just something you do for fun. There are MULTIPLE builds in the game that can do ubers with sub 5 div investment week 1. Yes, you won't have 400% MS with 1000 projectiles. The 'aspirational' isn't the content, is taking a sub meta skill and doing the content, or getting crazy desecrated belts (last league) or something, but none of that is required for the actual content.

Pretty disappointed with mirage not going core in someway, this was easily one of the best leagues in years and to just throw it away is a disappointment. Usually they'll mention if it'll go core in the future, but nothing here. Could've made it like affliction where it's just a random chance to spawn each map, that would've been good enough.

There's no such thing as 'aspirational' content in AARPGS that can't be done within the first week for your top end player base. The only way other games can achieve that is adding in Time Gating stuff, aka "need 14 of these but can only get 1 per day" and that will NEVER be implemented in traditional AARPGS. Even if you add 10 ubers in PoE2 people will still get strong enough in week 1 to kill them (or players like ben_ by day 2) then have them on farm by day 10, that doesn't add months to the retention. The only thing you can even come CLOSE to 'aspirational' content would be playing multiple diff chars per league, but nobody is going to go through the campaign 8 times, esp in PoE2, and since there's never any semblance of balance in either game, the power difference between #1 and #8 is 100x, who is going to want to play a character for end game farming that's 100x worse than another character they already have, except for maybe Captain Lance lol

It's simple. It's literally just 4 accounts two of which are Neutral Bitcoin YouTube channels, Jimmy Song is always Neutral on major tech stuff (even during 2017 he was neutral on everything) and Simon Dixon who I don't consider much of a Bitcoiner these days but a Geo Politics media

The most interesting thing to me is that the 110-neutral camp is 6.7%, yet has 14.3% of the followers. Any theories why the neutral camp has so many more followers on average than the pro or con camps?
