@davidcoldwell Thought he could have let it go.. Parker is tough , shattered but wasn't taking huge damage, and maybe have had a punch left. Wardley was letting his hands go, may have punched himself out 🤷‍♂️ we never know, but what a story. You just have to feel for Parker. He has had 0 luck

WOW!!! What an onslaught! Incredible! Parker was shattered, Wardley went to work and rolled the dice. Was it early? I wanted to see what would happen if Parker got through it..but, IMO Parker not clinching, getting tagged & looking disorganized gave the referee a reason to stop it. #ParkerWardley

That’s an awful stoppage. I’m sorry. Wardley was pouring it on, yes, but Parker was still in it. Parker was ahead on the cards by 6 rounds and another 2 and another had it 5-5. Nope. Don’t agree!

Don’t love the stoppage. The final sequence, the first punch was a grazing blow and the second and third didn’t land. Poor timing by the ref to jump in there and then. Both boxers showed tremendous heart.
