@BladeoftheS Immigration is A problem. Not THE problem. In fact you can't really pinpoint a single "The problem" because it doesn't exist. Yes rich is one problem(though they aren't the problem stabbing, rapeing, pillaging etc) Immigrants are that problem.

50% of people in the UK are working for less than £33,000. While the average CEO is on £3,600,000. (109x) And the average billionaire is making £700,000,000 a year profit. (21220x) Then they tell you that immigration is the problem. And you believe them?

@ImmortalTech People have a right to feel safe and if people are coming and making you feel unsafe you rightly can express those feelings. I could be wrong but I'm sure the person who made that flyer never destabilized any country. And more likely a person who wants to keep their family safe.

Morning good people. I see Clacton is trending again. Led by Donkeys, I salute you all. Let's all remember Nigel Farage is paid £91,346 as an MP for doing f*ck all. His outside earnings top that up nicely. Farage is a SPIV. Nothing more, nothing less. #BBCBreakfast #LedByDonkeys

@marcuschown Marcus still doens't get it and hasn't accepted that the UK has no money. Pensioners have already been robbed and left to die to give doctors and rail people rises. Who else is going to be sacrificed to fund the NHS? Maybe pull funding from schools and abandon the youth?

In 2010, the NHS was rated the fairest, most efficient & cost-effective healthcare system in the world. The Tories spent 14 years buggering it up. We don't need "reform", FFS, Labour. We need the NHS put back to its unbuggered-up state. Which means un-privatise it and fund it

@Silvia19865 @Keir_Starmer I think you're just coping. He wont U-turn because he knows Brexit has a majority support. But it doesn't matter much, labour won't survive another election.

Is it too much to want a political system whereby donors aren’t allowed to fund clothes, holidays and choppers for their politicians? Rip up the donor rule book and start again.
Gabriel Pogrund@Gabriel_Pogrund

EXCLUSIVE: Keir Starmer broke parliamentary rules by failing to declare that a donor bought designer clothes for his wife, Victoria. The PM faces an investigation after he did not disclose gifts from Lord Alli — peer who also buys his suits and glasses. thetimes.com/uk/arts/articl…

@CalltoActivism A great speaker doesn't make a great leader. Charisma doesn't factor into good decisions. Biden's Admin(Kalama is vice president) has been awful, tons of migrants, we're on the eve of WW3 and Israel is committing a genocide. The world is more dangerous than it's ever been.

Harris didn’t just win this debate. She destroyed Trump in just about every way. America is ready to turn the page. We are exhausted! Oh, and do you know how you will know Harris dominated tonight? They will all blame the moderators.

@MarinaPurkiss @UKLabour There is a reason why no government does this. It's not that you've accessed some secret, complex, genius-level solution. Have a real good think about why no government or labour has done this before and won't do this moving forward.

Here’s another idea @UKLabour You say the Autumn budget will be painful Why not offer a budget that raises funds from those who won’t feel pain Perhaps, from those who might feel a tiny bit less comfortable Or better still, from those so wealthy they’ll feel nothing at all.

@danielgoyal @Keir_Starmer It's easy to say, difficult to implement. How would a wealth tax work exactly? Set out a plan and get support. If it makes sense I would back it. Till now I've seen no tangible solution presented other than hollow calls for increasing tax on the wealthy.

I believe the vast majority of us support a wealth tax… so we can recover our health service, education system, infrastructure, pay our elders a decent pension and create a more hopeful future for our kids! It’s still a democracy, right @Keir_Starmer?

@MarinaPurkiss Ever stopped to wonder if it's you that is naive and being conned? Pretty much most humans, besides the top and bottom 1% are pretty equal in raw IQ, so chances are you're no more clever than the 70% of people with average intelligence and just as easy to dupe.

@carolvorders You got conned. Labour === Tories. The problem isn't the party in power(though id argue labour is much worse) it's the country's finances. It's why Corbyn talks out his arse. There's no money to house, feed, support everyone. Govt just juggles money around.

Cross bench peer Baroness Altmann will table a "fatal motion" to stop Labour's cuts on winter fuel payments for pensioners going through Although it's unlikely to succeed, I hope that it does I still can't understand why Labour is making these cuts as deep as they propose 🤷🏼‍♀️

‘According to a new book about Musk’s takeover of Twitter by two New York Times journalists, the platform’s new owner wanted Twitter/X to be more like Pavel Durov’s Telegram, which had an user base of 800m and only 30 staff Durov’s arrest, in Musk’s mind, is an act of censorship rather than one of law enforcement—because, in the Tucker Carlson/Musk world, free speech trumps all, and there are absolutely no harms that should be weighed in the balance against it. A platform with three staff per 100m users is literally a lawless public space. Good luck with John Stuart Mill’s “free and open fight” for truth there.’ prospectmagazine.co.uk/politics/free-…
