Planned Outage for Pretoria East. Dear residents, the Energy and Electricity Department will at 13:00 switch off power supply from Njala Substation. This means most areas in Pretoria East will be without power for less than 6 hours. We apologise for the inconvenience, but the repair work is necessary. The team will repair line isolators on the 132kV Njala Line 1, which were affected by a power failure. The following primary substations in Pretoria East will be affected: Mooikloof, Wapadrand, Watloo , Koedoespoort, Phumlani and Pyramid. This work is necessary to manage risk and to prevent further damage to the Njala infeed station. We expect power to restored as soon as the repair work is done. @CityTshwane

Residents of Waterkloof, our teams have been on site to resolve the power outage in the area. 14 components are affected that feed power to Main, Heloma, Victoria and Rigel streets. We have indented the affected cable. Our teams are manually digging trenches to reach the cable and repair it. Our teams have chosen the method of manually digging to avoid damage to other live cables on site. We have no estimated restoration time. We apologise for the inconvenience. @CityTshwane

@nasiphim Service delivery is atrocious in Tshwane at the moment. The streets are overgrown with weeds and grass, power interruptions weekly, no updates from Tshwane, water interruptions, potholes EVERYWHERE, no traffic circles in critical streets in Brooklyn. How is this OK?

@geordinhl @CityofCT Dear Mayor of CT, I visit CT often. The sewerage issue in Sea Point is horrendous. It’s getting worse with every visit. I swam at Saunders on Tue and am currently so sick due to E Coli. (Confirmed by my Dr) Thinking of tourists and what this will do for CT 🥺🤢
