Large queues of Mozambican nationals have formed at the South Africa border ahead of a planned strike in Mozambique tomorrow. Many appear to be crossing into South Africa as uncertainty grows over the shutdown action. The current situation has raised concern over possible disruptions and border pressure.

@ntsikimazwai THAT'S THE RESULTS OF THE MARCH. WENA WHAT HAVE YOU ARCHIEVED AFTER SHOWING US YOUR NUDES ON PUBLIC?

English

@ISephara I think maybe they did that because of the frustration of not getting any support from the politicians more especially in government. It's not too late, they can still derigister OD as political party and continue being activists and fight what's right for their communities.

@Zwelinzima1 IF I WERE YOU I WOULD HAVE JUST SHUT UP CAUSE YOU ARE JUST A FAILED POLITICIAN JUST LIKE MANY AND LEAVE YOUNG ONES TO FIX THEIR COUNTRY

Twist our words. Misrepresent our position. Call us whatever names you want. Accuse us of things we have never said. It changes nothing.
We will never under any circumstances stand with a xenophobic agenda that turns the poor against the poor while the real architects of poverty, unemployment, inequality and criminality walk free.
We know what it means when mobs take the law into their own hands. We have seen it before - the humiliation, the terror, the burning of homes, the destruction of lives in broad daylight while the rule of law collapses. That is not justice. That is a descent into barbarism.
We refuse to celebrate that. We refuse to be silent about it. We refuse to normalise it.
Our country was not built on hatred. It was built on struggle, on solidarity, on the belief that an injury to one is an injury to all. When we allow violence against the most vulnerable, we are tearing apart the very fabric of our democracy.
We will not be part of turning South Africa into a skunk of the world again, a place feared by the world and unsafe for its own people. We will stand, firmly and unapologetically, for humanity, for justice, and for the rule of law, no matter how loudly we are insulted for it. These videos do not represent us - we are ashamed!

@ntsikimazwai Wena since Julius wanted to sue, you are trying by all means to impress him by tweeting stupid things and thinking you're making sense but unfortunately you degrade your dignity and integrity by being a FOOL!

#PoliceMinistry [ATTACKS AGAINST GHANAIAN NATIONALS AND OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS]
The Ministry of Police strongly condemns the recent xenophobic acts of violence and intimidation directed at Ghanaian nationals and other foreign nationals within the Republic of South Africa.
These actions are not only unlawful, but they stand in direct opposition to the values of dignity, equality, and human rights upon which our democracy is founded. South Africa is a constitutional state governed by the rule of law. No individual or group has the authority to take the law into their own hands, irrespective of grievances or frustrations.
The Ministry of Police wishes to advise the members of the public that acts of xenophobia, violence, looting, or intimidation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The #SAPS has been instructed to act decisively and without hesitation in addressing these incidents. All those found to be participating in, inciting, or supporting such criminal conduct will be identified, apprehended, and brought before the courts.
The Ministry of Police calls on all communities to remain calm and to reject any attempts to sow division and hatred among residents of our country. The Ministry further urges community leaders, civil society organisations, and all stakeholders to work together with law enforcement agencies to prevent further violence and to promote dialogue and understanding. #ProtestAction ME

Can we please also start a campaign to raise money to buy cows for Zandile Dabula (head of Operation Dudula).
She has been fighting for this country since 2019.
For 7 years now Operation Dudula has done amazing work across the country.
Over the years she has faced insults, physical threats, death threats, has been targeted by political parties, NGO's and the media...but still kept pushing every single day.
She deserves a small token of appreciation from those who recognize their work ✨️❤️🇿🇦

@SAPoliceService If the government was doing what they were suppose to do seriously to deal the issue of the influx of foreigners in our country, the citizens wouldn't take the matter by themselves. This is the results of the government's failure to perform its duty to protect our borders.
